Italian names (that begin with A or C)

I’m sorry for the one hundred posts I’ve made on this subject, I’m still conflicted with names, I’m afraid. I want something of Italian origin, preferably one that begins with an ‘a’ or ‘c’. A name I really like but I’m not set on is [name_f]Cara[/name_f]. I considered [name_f]Carina[/name_f] too, but I’d rather [name_f]Cara[/name_f] on it’s own then. I was set on [name_f]Camila[/name_f] for a while but I’m not as keen on it anymore. It’s still on the list, just not as high up.

Other Italian names I like that don’t begin with an ‘a’ or ‘c’ are [name_f]Bianca[/name_f], [name_u]Emilia[/name_u], [name_f]Giana[/name_f], [name_f]Sara[/name_f] and [name_f]Valentina[/name_f]. I’d love more suggestions though. I don’t have any fixed ideas for the ‘vibe’/feel of the name, I like sweet and elegant, and interesting and spunky, preferably something that’s known, and I’m not fussed over popularity.

You’ve probably had it suggested a million times before, but I think [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] fits the brief beautifully :heart_eyes:

Chiara is another gorgeous Italian girl name — meaning “light”, sweet and simple but with just a touch more frilliness than [name_f]Cara[/name_f], more in line with choices like [name_f]Bianca[/name_f] and [name_f]Valentina[/name_f].

Carlotta comes to mind as an underused gem and a great alternative to [name_f]Cara[/name_f]/Carina.
