It's a Boy! Suggest me some Latin names!

We found out a few weeks ago that our baby is a boy. We are very happy and excited and feel like we can now relax a bit and concentrate some more on names. We wan’t a Latin name that is handsome, not very common and has a positive meaning. Our angel baby’s name is [name_m]Lazaro[/name_m], so that is out. I can’t wait to see your suggestions!

This is just going off of searching for names with latin origin in nameberry. Some of these may be too common but I wanted to get a list going. If I don’t list a popularity ranking, that means it’s a name outside the top 1000 for popularity in the US.

[name_m]Lazaro[/name_m] is an Italian variation of [name_m]Lazarus[/name_m] and [name_m]Eleazar[/name_m]. [name_m]Aurelio[/name_m] is the Italian version of the latin [name_m]Aurelius[/name_m] and means [name_u]Golden[/name_u] One. It is also outside of the top 1000. [name_m]Aurelio[/name_m] gets my vote!

I tried replying to this thread and it’s not showing up. I had a bunch of names listed but my ultimate choice for you was [name_m]Aurelio[/name_m] which is the Italian version of the latin name [name_m]Aurelius[/name_m] and means golden one. [name_m]Lazaro[/name_m] is the italian variation of [name_m]Lazarus[/name_m] or [name_m]Eleazar[/name_m] so that’s how I got to [name_m]Aurelio[/name_m].

If you’re into nicknames, you could go with [name_u]Ari[/name_u], [name_u]Arlo[/name_u], or [name_m]Lio[/name_m] for [name_m]Aurelio[/name_m]. Good luck! and congrats!

Similar to the previous suggestion I thought of [name_m]Aurelius[/name_m].

Also could consider…
[name_m]Amadeus[/name_m]
[name_u]Constantine[/name_u]
[name_m]Augustine[/name_m]
[name_m]Dante[/name_m]
[name_m]Julius[/name_m]
[name_m]Dominic[/name_m]

I just realized you have [name_m]Aurelio[/name_m] in your signature, sorry for suggesting something you had already thought of :stuck_out_tongue:
