I am back =) I am about 7 months pregnant with my second daughter. I have a 2 year old little girl-[name]Jameson[/name] [name]Elizabeth[/name]…who we sometimes call [name]Jamie[/name]. My husband and I are pretty set on [name]Avery[/name] for the first name…but I am second guessing myself on middle names.
What are your thoughts on…
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Nicole[/name] – [name]Nicole[/name] is my sister’s name, my only issue is that her initials would be ANT, is that awful?
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Elise[/name] – [name]Elise[/name] is a family name and I love it…but 1) is it too close to [name]Elizabeth[/name]/am I duplicating?? and 2) Is Aver-y E-lise too much “ee” ?
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Vivian[/name] – [name]Vivian[/name] is my husband’s mother’s name…too much “V” ?
[name]Avery[/name] [name]Harper[/name] – I just like it
I would greatly appreciate any advice/additional suggestions. (I really am not set on using a family name, so I am open to anything!)
Our last name is just one syllable so I think 2, 3 or 4 syllable middle names sound better. One syllable doesn’t sound right-I like [name]Avery[/name] [name]Kate[/name], but [name]Avery[/name] [name]Kate[/name] T____ just sounds choppy.
Far and away I love [name]Avery[/name] [name]Nicole[/name] the most - it has such a lovely flow to it. I don’t think the initials are an issue unless they spell out something like BUM. But ANT only opens itself up to a limited amount of teasing.
[name]Love[/name] your combination of [name]Jameson[/name] and [name]Avery[/name] - what sweet names for two little girls!
Good luck!
All the combos but elise are very nice. [name]Elise[/name] is way too much like elizabeth. My daughters initials spell LAP and mine MAP its really not a big deal. So if you like nicole go for it.
[name]Both[/name] first names are unisex and [name]Jameson[/name] has a feminine mn, I’d suggest doing the same for [name]Avery[/name]. I like [name]Avery[/name] [name]Nicole[/name] the best. I wouldn’t really worry to much about ANT. One day when she is an auntie it will be cute.
I think [name]Avery[/name] [name]Harper[/name] is very cute! As your first daughter has a unisex first name paired with a classic middle, maybe consider the same for your second?
