Soā¦ do we think Jan could ever make a comeback? If soā¦ in what form would you like to see her come back? Janelle? Janet? Janice? January? Maybe just Jan?

Iāve met a couple of teenage Franās, so I donāt see why the similar sounding [name_u]Jan[/name_u] couldnāt come back as well! I could see [name_f]Janet[/name_f] eventually coming back, too, for itās generally cool sound and look.

I could see it coming back. [name_f]Jana[/name_f] and [name_u]January[/name_u] donāt feel dated or out of style at all. Out of the other options, [name_f]Janelle[/name_f] feels the most likely to catch on first since elle is such a trendy sound right now, but [name_f]Janet[/name_f] with its popular -et(te) ending or maybe even [name_f]Janice[/name_f] could eventually have a revival as well.

@Sophie_M @sammaegre i totally agree with you both about Janet. I never realized how cool of a name this actually is?? Itās super punchy! I just know so many old ladies with the name that I never saw it in that way! But i really like it a lot.

I really hope it does! Itās just so dang cute, and the Janās Iāve my throughout my life were everything this name feels to me- smart, sassy, and strong. 
I could see [name_u]Janis[/name_u] coming back with the rise of hippie names, because of [name_u]Janis[/name_u] [name_f]Joplin[/name_f]. I would actually consider naming my own little girl this though [name_f]Joplin[/name_f] is more my usual style!

I think it could definitely come back. [name_f]My[/name_f] grandma is [name_f]Janet[/name_f], I met a nurse named [name_f]Janelle[/name_f], and Iāve seen babies named [name_f]Janelle[/name_f]. [name_f]Janelle[/name_f] would probably be the first to come back.

I kind of like [name_u]Jan[/name_u] - something short and cool about it. I quite like [name_u]Jan[/name_u] on itās own 
[name_f]Janelle[/name_f] feels like it could come back, maybe [name_u]January[/name_u]?

I also really like [name_f]Janet[/name_f] partly because sheās a family name and just feels so sentimental to me but I also love the vintage vibe sheās wholesome.

I can see a January, Janelle or Janis nn Jan for sure. Iām not quite āthereā with Janet because thatās my middle aged aunt who plays golf, but objectively I can see thereās nothing wrong with it

I think it could make a comeback, especially with [name_f]Dot[/name_f] and [name_u]Fran[/name_u] / [name_f]Frances[/name_f] gaining some popularity!
As for full names, I really like [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_u]January[/name_u] and I think [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f] could also be shortened to [name_u]Jan[/name_u] easily!

I love [name_u]Jan[/name_u] and all her long forms!!! I really hope that one day [name_f]Janelle[/name_f], [name_f]Janet[/name_f], [name_f]Janette[/name_f], [name_f]Janice[/name_f], [name_f]Janine[/name_f], [name_f]Janiya[/name_f] etc can all come back!
