Jane Elizabeth - need help on middle name!

Help! I’m expecting my third girl in a few weeks. We’ve chosen Jane as a first name but still deciding on a middle. Leaning towards Elizabeth (my middle name) or variation of.

My dilemma is my other two daughters have short and sweet middle names: Lucy Sue and Anna Jean. Keep the pattern or break it?

It’s not obviously a pattern but looks more like a style preference to keep the names short and sweet.
I went with [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Beth[/name_f] because it both fits the other girls names and also honors for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].
You’re girls names are stunning. I really think you should keep the flow and still get the honor in there!

[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is also more stylistically suitable with your other girls names and the flow is still nice. But [name_f]Beth[/name_f] really hits that sweet spot.

[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Lizzie[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Ella[/name_f], would also keep the three syllable pattern and still get your honor name in there.

While I like that [name_f]Beth[/name_f] matches the other girls in middle name syllables, their name patterns are 2-1 and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Beth[/name_f] is 1-1. For the syllable count and the way it sounds when said out loud, I prefer [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. You might also look at [name_f]Elsbeth[/name_f], [name_f]Elspeth[/name_f], [name_f]Elsbet[/name_f] or [name_f]Elspet[/name_f] as options.

Oh, I adore [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. How gorgeous. Works so so perfectly with big sisters’ names as well. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is also absolutely beautiful. I just love the [name_f]Beth[/name_f] syllable so much that I’d want to keep it!!

I think you should break the theme. It’s not obvious and not that significant imo. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] being a one syllable name just doesn’t go well with a one syllable middle name. It sounds a bit awkward to me, your other daughters have 2 syllable first names so the one syllable middle name works well. [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] are both lovely I honestly don’t know which I prefer better.

although jane elizabeth has a perfect flow, jane eliza has that nickname as middle name extra kick to it that makes it feel a little more current and fresh ! i don’t think it would break the pattern much, despite the middle not being one syllable it’s still a short name like her sisters

Congratulations!

I absolutely love [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] such a regal name really graceful. However I can see how [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] doesn’t completely ‘fit’ with [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] [name_f]Sue[/name_f] & [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_u]Jean[/name_u] which are short sweet names. Therefore for a cohesive sibling set I went with [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]. [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is gorgeous spunky name and feels romantic paired with [name_f]Jane[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Beth[/name_f] is more ‘in keeping’ with the sibling set just has a more vintage flair but I prefer [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] over [name_f]Beth[/name_f] so had to go with [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f].

[name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] sounds best to me and still has the simple classic feel that her sisters names have. [name_u]Love[/name_u] that it’s your middle!

I voted for [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] - [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Beth[/name_f] is a bit hard to say since they’re both 1 syllable (not the worst, and if it’s the one don’t rule it out based on my opinion!), and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is nice but I like the spunk of [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and I think [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] works the best for keeping the flow and also honoring your taste of short and sweet names. I think [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is perfect!
