What would you pair with [name]Jasper[/name]?

Is [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Finn[/name] too hip? Would you stay quirky or pair with a more traditional middle like [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Henry[/name]?

I mentioned [name]Jasper[/name] to my husband the other day (thought he would absolutely never go for it) and he replied “I sorta like [name]Jasper[/name]” (that is a big deal!) and I’ve been trying to add at least one more name to our list to go to hospital with. Would love a nautical or beachy middle name if we don’t use a family name ([name]Henry[/name] or [name]David[/name]/[name]Davidson[/name] perhaps). I was thinking [name]Finn[/name] could work as its similarity to [name]Fin[/name] and like the one syllable flow with [name]Jasper[/name] as baby will have double middle names (second being my maiden name). I love [name]Caspian[/name] in the middle too but not paired with [name]Jasper[/name] and family name [name]Arthur[/name] doesn’t flow nicely with [name]Jasper[/name] [name]IMO[/name].

So… what direction/ideas do you have for a [name]Jasper[/name] middle name? Open to new ideas

going to go ahead and give this a bump!

I love [name]Jasper[/name]!
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Finn[/name] sounds great but I think [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Henry[/name] is ever so slightly more handsome.
Before my OH vetoed [name]Jasper[/name] in no uncertain terms, I really loved [name]Jasper[/name] Aneirin ([name]Ah[/name]-nye-rin). It was my favourite boys name.

I agree with you that [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Arthur[/name] doesn’t flow well.

I love [name]Jasper[/name] and [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Finn[/name] is sort of cool! I love [name]Caspian[/name] and [name]Arthur[/name] too but you’re right, they don’t sound very good with [name]Jasper[/name]. Maybe [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Cassius[/name]?

[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Soren[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Elliott[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Sullivan[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Simon[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Nathaniel[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]August[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Donovan[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Sage[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Cole[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Warren[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Conrad[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Drake[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Felix[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Miles[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Vaughn[/name]

[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Reid[/name] is my favorite combo - but [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Finn[/name] is lovely!

Some great suggestions here. Husband loves [name]Elliot[/name] so [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Elliot[/name] could work. Keep em’ coming!

I love [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Finn[/name] but it does sound a bit trendy - I think I like more traditional middles with [name]Jasper[/name] personally (it’s on our list too)
I like [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Alexander[/name], [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Owen[/name], [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Kai[/name] (although that feels just as trendy as [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Finn[/name]), [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Silas[/name], [name]Jasper[/name] [name]David[/name], [name]Jasper[/name] [name]William[/name]… Lots of traditional middles apparently! [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Elliott[/name] and [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Sullivan[/name] too, as above

sleepy- that was my worry and [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Kai[/name] does feel the same way though I didn’t feel that way considering [name]Henry[/name] [name]Kai[/name]. I think [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Henry[/name] could be nice or another more traditional middle. [name]George[/name] is another family name but I do feel that [name]Jasper[/name] [name]George[/name] is a bit much. I will have to start looking at the family trees again!

I’d prefer a classic one-syllable middle with [name]Jasper[/name], because I do like the one-syllable flow but don’t want anything too trendy:

[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Heath[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Saul[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Zane[/name] - maybe too popular right now?
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Keith[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Joel[/name], if alliteration is ok
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Dean[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Pike[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name] [name]Hale[/name]

A “cooler” one syllable middle like [name]Finn[/name] or [name]Pax[/name] does update it a lot, but I’m not sure if that is good or bad.

striped- thanks for those suggestions, I will throw them out to my DH and see what he thinks. [name]Jasper[/name] [name]Hale[/name] sounds very old school but cool. I agree that a one syllable middle name flows well. My DH mentioned [name]Beck[/name] the other day which I like but it goes back to that too hip feeling, lol.
