What are your honest opinions of [name]Jensen[/name]/[name]Jenson[/name]. I cannot decide if I should keep it or let it go. WDYT of the name in general and which spelling do you prefer? Any images of a [name]Jensen[/name]/[name]Jenson[/name] that stick out in your mind? The combo if I kept it would most likely be [name]Jensen[/name]/[name]Jenson[/name] [name]Oliver[/name].
I like [name]Jensen[/name] better. I don’t love it but I think it goes fine on your list. It’s always seemed too surnamey to me, which is odd since about 75% of my boys’ names could be considered surnames, lol. I am pretty sure it means “son of [name]John[/name]/[name]Jan[/name]” or whatever, but I like [name]Jack[/name] (especially [name]Jack[/name]!!!), [name]John[/name], [name]Jackson[/name], and even [name]Jonathan[/name] better than [name]Jensen[/name]. It’s just not my thing personally, but it’s not a bad name.
I briefly considered this name because my mom was [name]Jennifer[/name], but kept hearing ginseng when I said it. I also think it will go towards the girls camp like all the other boys names that end in ‘n’. ie: [name]Carson[/name], [name]Madison[/name], [name]Addison[/name], [name]Landyn[/name], [name]Hudson[/name], [name]Grayson[/name], [name]Mason[/name], [name]Peyton[/name] etc. I think I would mark it off your list just for that reason alone.
It’s listed as a girl name in a baby book I have, which would put me off of it. Plus he would certainly be called [name]Jen[/name] by his peers. Otherwise I think it’s fine and would spell it [name]Jensen[/name].
I think it’s a perfectly usable name. The image that pops to my head when I hear it is [name]Jensen[/name] Ackles, so that probably makes the name a lot more attractive to me!
I have a friend whose first name is [name]Janson[/name], and have always liked it. He is in a band and ridiculously talented. I do like [name]Jansen[/name]/[name]Janson[/name] better than [name]Jenson[/name]/[name]Jensen[/name], but only a bit more really-seeing as they are so similar!
I love [name]Jensen[/name]! It’s currently on my own list as Jensen. I don’t think spelling matters, [name]Jensen[/name] looks more traditional while [name]Jenson[/name] seems to follow the -son trend, but either one is great! I picture a [name]Jensen[/name] being an actor or something very artsy
I agree: [name]Jensen[/name] looks more traditional to me than [name]Jenson[/name], so I would normally go with [name]Jensen[/name]. I think I prefer the sound of [name]Jenson[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] though…
There are lots of surname-y names that end in -son that are still firmly in the boys’ camp–a few girls might be using [name]Carson[/name], [name]Hudson[/name], and [name]Mason[/name], for instance, but the number of boys with these names dramatically outnumbers the number of girls. I don’t think [name]Jensen[/name] will necessarily be given to lots of daughters.
[name]Jenson[/name] came up as a possibility for my second son. My husband and I are both Formula [name]One[/name] watchers, so it would have been after [name]Jenson[/name] Button. He is called [name]Jens[/name] as a nickname. The name is gained some popularity in the UK after he won a championship.
Ditto! Can not hear this name without thinking of [name]Jensen[/name] Ackles (and drooling a bit, LOL).
Although it not my favourite name, I dot have an issue with [name]Jensen[/name]. I would, however, be wary when using this name as his friends would probably call him [name]Jen[/name], whih may be seen as too girly of a nickname. Without that nickname, it’s fab!

Ditto the F1 association, in fact [name]Jenson[/name] Button was the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the thread. You can also go with the nn [name]Sonny[/name] if you use the [name]Jenson[/name] spelling.
We have a 10 month old boy named [name]Jenson[/name]. We decided to go with the ‘on’ spelling rather than the ‘en’ ending due to the fact we felt it had a scandanavian feel to it at first glance. It was a topic of conversation between the two of us for a little while. But as soon as we decided [name]Jenson[/name] it was definitely right for us. And now we couldn’t even imagine spelling it any other way. Now just to find another name for whenever bubs number two comes along!!
I love [name]Jensen[/name] it is a fresh preppie style name like [name]Griffin[/name] and [name]Preston[/name] only nicer. It has a very Swedish vibe and therefore would make a really good surfer boy’s name!
Wonderful choice!!
