I like [name_m]Rafi[/name_m] the best. I love [name_m]Rafael[/name_m], and [name_m]Rafi[/name_m] is such a cute nickname, but [name_m]Rafael[/name_m] can also be very formal and perfect for an older man. The second one would be [name_u]Gavi[/name_u], with I don’t think its that unusual, since my uncle’s name is [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] and we call him [name_u]Gavi[/name_u]. [name_f]IMO[/name_f], [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] might be a bit too popular (but if that doesn’t bother you, go for it!)
[name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] nn [name_u]Gavi[/name_u] is my favorite since I prefer v sound - since f tends to v for us
It’s a close match between [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] ([name_u]Gavi[/name_u]) and [name_m]Rafael[/name_m] ([name_m]Rafi[/name_m]), they’re both such handsome names. I voted for [name_m]Rafi[/name_m] after much deliberation because I prefer [name_m]Rafael[/name_m] to [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m], but that’s just a matter of personal opinion. If you prefer [name_u]Gavi[/name_u], then that’s what you should pick.
Congratulations on the baby, and I wish you the best of luck in settling on a name!
I voted [name_m]Rafael[/name_m] “[name_m]Rafi[/name_m]” because I adore Raf- names in general, but [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] “[name_u]Gavi[/name_u]” is gorgeous too. I much prefer both to [name_m]Ethan[/name_m].
[name_m]Ethan[/name_m] isn’t a Jewish name so i picked [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] but not liking the nickname [name_u]Gavi[/name_u] because it sounds like the name [name_m]Gavin[/name_m].
