Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard Expecting

I know this might not be everyone’s favourite family, but let’s just talk about names for a bit, okay?

So [name_f]Jill[/name_f] Duggar got married in [name_u]June[/name_u] to [name_m]Derick[/name_m] [name_m]Dillard[/name_m], and they just announced that she is pregnant (It’s [name_u]August[/name_u]). What do you think they’re going to name their little one? I was thinking [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] for a little boy, since that’s [name_m]Derick[/name_m]'s middle name too, but if it’s a girl I have no ideas lol

Well they’d have to choose a letter that’s easy for naming five or more kids… So I don’t know about [name_u]Ryan[/name_u], but maybe as a middle like [name_m]Josh[/name_m] & [name_f]Anna[/name_f] did with [name_u]Michael[/name_u] and Mackynzie? I personally would go with the letter B, but I also think if they have a girl, her middle should be [name_f]Amy[/name_f] after none other than Cousin [name_f]Amy[/name_f]

Hopefully [name_m]Derick[/name_m] and [name_f]Jill[/name_f] will break the mold and give their kids names that start with different letters.

I would love to see them break out of the theme, but it not, maybe an alliterative name like [name_m]Derick[/name_m]'s.
[name_m]Daniel[/name_m] or [name_f]Delia[/name_f]?

I really like the couple . They seem very sweet . I have a feeling though that they will continue the same letter theme . I can see them go with a - d name . [name_f]Delia[/name_f] and [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] are very good suggestions .

I could have sworn I was reading just the other day that [name_f]Jill[/name_f] said they wouldn’t use a letter theme.

I love the Duggars and am so excited for [name_f]Jill[/name_f] and [name_m]Derick[/name_m]!

Though they have said they don’t plan on sticking to any particular name theme, I kinda think it would be cool to carry on the tradition. [name_m]Derick[/name_m] and his brother are both Ds as well, so the alliteration tradition is on both sides of the family.

If they go with D:
[name_m]David[/name_m] [name_u]Ryan[/name_u]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f] [name_f]Michelle[/name_f]

I also think it would be neat if they chose an R theme to honor [name_m]Derick[/name_m]'s late father [name_m]Rick[/name_m], whom it would seem [name_m]Derick[/name_m] himself was named after:
[name_m]Reuben[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]
[name_u]Ryan[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u]
[name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] [name_f]Michelle[/name_f]

I’m really not sure if they’ll keep a theme, especially if they’re seriously wanting to adopt children some day (changing names can be tricky). But one thing I am expecting is probably Bible names for the boys and cutesy names for girls. The meanings will be important. I do think [name_f]Jill[/name_f] will be slightly trendier and more creative with names than her mother. I could totally see her picking a less common Bible name like [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] or something.
