I love the elegant [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
Josephine is my favorite (but I’m biased, my usernamesake is [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_u]March[/name_u])
I think [name_f]Jolene[/name_f] feels a little dated, whereas [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is ripe for a comeback
I like [name_f]Jolene[/name_f]! I think it’s sweet and spunky and I love the [name_f]Dolly[/name_f] [name_m]Parton[/name_m] song 
I know a girl named [name_f]Juline[/name_f], which is like a blend of the two if that interests you.

I think both names have a lovely sound, [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] would be my preferred option simply because the constant references to the song ‘[name_f]Jolene[/name_f]’ would annoy me. I also really like the nickname [name_u]Josie[/name_u]. However, if the reference to the song wouldn’t bother you or would actually make you love the name more then I would say go for that one!! [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] is a pretty nickname too
