Jordana

[name]Do[/name] you pronounce it Jor-donna or Jor-dan-a?

Jor-[name]DON[/name]-ah. I grew up with a [name]Jordana[/name], and that’s how she’s always said it.

i would say it Jor-Daa-Na

I’m one, spelt slightly creatively, but intended to be [name]Jordana[/name].

I/my family always said it jor-dan-uh, like [name]Anna[/name]. Rhymes with [name]Joanna[/name] or [name]Johanna[/name]. Mine has two n’s though.

Having moved nations, everyone now automatically says jor-donna.

Either of those two is fine with me. Jor-day-na and jor-jan-uh really fry my nerves.

I kind of pronounce it as Jor-day-nuh!

Well, get out. (not really of course)

It’s why day-to-day, I go by [name]Josie[/name].

I do like it though. It would be easier, however, spelt [name]Jordana[/name], so I recommend sticking with that way, OP, as that’s how everyone will spell it anyway, in my experience.

I’ve never met or heard of anyone with the name before to be honest so it was kind of just assuming what the pronunciation was, it’ interesting to hear the different opinions and what the exact pronunciation is.

I kind of linked [name]Morgana[/name] and [name]Jordana[/name] together but I figured that Jor-dah-nuh didn’t sound right to me, which is similar to how I pronounce [name]Morgana[/name] (Mor-gah-nuh). So I ended up at Jor-day-nuh but I’m happy to be corrected lol
