Josephina alliterated

My three daughters all have three names, four including our last. their first names start with the same letter: [name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Esme[/name_f], [name_f]Mahela[/name_f] [name_f]Mercy[/name_f] and [name_f]Julianna[/name_f] [name_f]Jessamy[/name_f]. My husband is liking the name [name_f]Josephina[/name_f] [name_f]Jordana[/name_f] ([name_u]Jordan[/name_u] is a family name). I feel like I could like [name_f]Josephina[/name_f] more if it had a cute nn. I am also not sure about [name_f]Jordana[/name_f]. I do not want to use [name_u]Jo[/name_u], [name_u]Jojo[/name_u], or JJ. Any thoughts? Oh, while I have suggested non alliterated combos we always come back to this recipe.

I think [name_f]Josephina[/name_f] does have cute nns: [name_u]Josie[/name_u], Phina, Seph or Sephie.

Since [name_u]Jordan[/name_u] is a family name AND it flows better with [name_f]Josephina[/name_f] than [name_f]Jordana[/name_f], I would use [name_f]Josephina[/name_f] [name_u]Jordan[/name_u].

I love Jospehina. Like pp mentioned the nns are abundant and I love them all!
I do agree that [name_f]Josephina[/name_f] [name_u]Jordan[/name_u] is best. If you wanted to use [name_f]Jordana[/name_f] I would go with Jospephine [name_f]Jordana[/name_f] instead.

I like [name_u]Josie[/name_u] as a nn, though it might take a lot of insistence to really avoid [name_u]Jo[/name_u] and [name_u]JoJo[/name_u] if you dislike those. I knew someone once who went by [name_m]Feeny[/name_m] — it’s kind of weird written out, but it was cute when people said it. I agree with the others that [name_f]Josephina[/name_f] [name_u]Jordan[/name_u] sounds the best.

I like [name_u]Fee[/name_u] as a nickname,

I like [name_u]Josie[/name_u], and [name_f]Josephina[/name_f] [name_f]Jordana[/name_f] is beautiful. You could also use [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f]'s pet name for [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] - [name_u]Joss[/name_u] or [name_f]Jossie[/name_f].

[name_u]Josie[/name_u]
Josa
Sephina
Sephie
Phina

I think [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Jordana[/name_f] flows better.

I think [name_f]Josephina[/name_f] [name_f]Jordana[/name_f] is lovely, and I like nicknames [name_u]Joss[/name_u], [name_u]Josie[/name_u] & [name_f]Jonie[/name_f] as well as Fi.

I like [name_u]Finn[/name_u] or Finnie as nn’s for [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]/a.

I love the name [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] so I think of nicknames for it all the time. I would recommend [name_u]Josie[/name_u], [name_u]Joey[/name_u], [name_f]Posey[/name_f], [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], Fi, [name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_f]Fina[/name_f], [name_f]Josette[/name_f], [name_f]Effie[/name_f], Sephie. I don’t know if you’d like [name_f]Fifi[/name_f], but that’s an option as well.

I’ve heard [name_u]Jodie[/name_u] used as a nickname for [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] too!

Personally, I love the combo. (I also have a love for alliterations :)) My favorite is [name_u]Josie[/name_u]. I also really like everwaiteing’s suggestion of Sephie!

Thank you for the kind words.

Thank you everyone for the nn. Thoughts. I like [name_f]Posie[/name_f], Finnie, [name_u]Finn[/name_u], and will think about [name_u]Josie[/name_u] and Sephie. I knew a [name_u]Josie[/name_u] who initially makes me feel deterrent. Any suggestions for another second J? I find it hard since we already have a J named daughter.

[name_u]Josie[/name_u], [name_f]Jolie[/name_f], or [name_u]Fee[/name_u] are the first that come to mind.

I really love [name_f]Jolie[/name_f], I feel there should be a connection to the lie somewhere in the name any suggestions? We haven’t found the third name and are not completely set on this combo.

[name_f]Josephina[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephina[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Josephina[/name_f] [name_f]Joelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Jubilee[/name_f]

[name_f]Jolie[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]
[name_f]Jolie[/name_f] [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]
[name_f]Jolie[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]
[name_f]Jolie[/name_f] [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f]
[name_f]Jolie[/name_f] [name_f]Jessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Jolie[/name_f] [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f]
[name_f]Jolie[/name_f] [name_f]Jacinda[/name_f]

I can see how the flow might be preferred, but with [name_u]Jordan[/name_u] we just want it to be clearly feminine (if we were to use it). I realize most feel [name_u]Jordan[/name_u] has gone to the girls and is no longer even unisex but I just do not want to use this name without an a on the end.

I am liking [name_f]Josephina[/name_f] Joyful but I am just wrestling to find another J name I am in love with. I think I would want [name_f]Jolie[/name_f] to be the nn. However with [name_f]Josephina[/name_f] [name_f]Jordanna[/name_f] I like [name_f]Janna[/name_f] as a nn. Too.

I really like [name_f]Josephina[/name_f]

[name_f]Jolie[/name_f] for you.

[name_f]Joy[/name_f] or [name_u]Joyce[/name_u] would also work as nns.

Some of my favorite J names, with or without [name_f]Josephina[/name_f]:
[name_u]Jael[/name_u]
[name_u]January[/name_u]
[name_f]Judy[/name_f]
Jia
[name_f]Juliana[/name_f]
[name_f]Jada[/name_f] or Jiada
