I’d go with [name_f]Josephina[/name_f] [name_u]Hero[/name_u], because of the literary reference. I don’t think [name_m]Saint[/name_m] is appropriate for a given name.
[name_f]Josephina[/name_f] [name_u]Hero[/name_u].
I don’t think [name_m]Saint[/name_m]'s appropriate.
[name_u]Hero[/name_u] makes a suitable middle name, because it’s got the Greek mythology connection to give it strength. I don’t think [name_m]Saint[/name_m] is an appropriate name, it goes a little too far. Besides, [name_f]Josephina[/name_f] [name_u]Hero[/name_u] sounds beautiful.
[name_f]Josephina[/name_f] is beautiful! Sorry, but I strongly dislike [name_u]Hero[/name_u] and [name_m]Saint[/name_m]. If you like those types of names, how about:
[name_m]Valor[/name_m]
Merit
[name_f]Patience[/name_f]
[name_f]Constance[/name_f]
[name_f]Prudence[/name_f]
[name_u]True[/name_u]
[name_u]Love[/name_u]
[name_f]Mercy[/name_f]
[name_f]Verity[/name_f]
I agree with @smartie352
I definitely prefer [name_u]Hero[/name_u]. It makes me think of [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m]'s Much [name_f]Ado[/name_f] About Nothing.
I think a mix would be best - [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_u]Hero[/name_u] For me, the -a ending doesn’t sit with [name_u]Hero[/name_u], but [name_u]Hero[/name_u] suits much nicer than [name_m]Saint[/name_m] (which is masculine to me).
Sorry but [name_m]Saint[/name_m] is absurd as a name. I find overly aspirational names like that very trashy. The Kardashian connection only makes it worse.
[name_u]Hero[/name_u] is much better - I think it’s a lovely name. As I’m sure you know it was used as a girl’s name long before the modern meaning of hero arose, and the Shakespearean connection adds to the charm. It’s a shame it is now being used in the ‘aspirational’ category for boys, to be honest.
I prefer [name_f]Josephina[/name_f] as a name, but I think [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] flows slightly better with [name_u]Hero[/name_u]. I would still vote for [name_f]Josephina[/name_f] [name_u]Hero[/name_u] though as the number of times you’re going to say both names together out loud is tiny in comparison to how often you’ll say her actual name, so I’d always recommend picking your favourite first name over the best overall flow.
