For a full name on a birth certificate would you go with
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
Or
[name_f]Josie[/name_f]
Thank you and have a wonderful [name_m]Thursday[/name_m] ![]()

I like just [name_f]Josie[/name_f] better!
I would go with [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]!
I would select [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
Definitely [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]!
I prefer full names on the birth certificate, even if you only plan to call them the nickname, so I’d go with [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] nn [name_f]Josie[/name_f].
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f].
If you like [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] as much as [name_f]Josie[/name_f], I think I’d say [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. I am not Josephine’s biggest fan, but I do like a name with options.
Personally, if I were picking between [name_f]Josie[/name_f] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f], I would 100% do [name_f]Josie[/name_f] though. ![]()
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f], for me. But that’s also because I love a few [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] options: [name_f]Josie[/name_f], [name_f]Posy[/name_f], Sephie & Phina. I agree with point above, if you like them equally, choose [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. If [name_f]Josie[/name_f] clear fave and you don’t want other nn’s as options, go for the pretty, [name_f]Josie[/name_f]. Finally, also depends on flow to last name.
I would go [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] with the nickname [name_f]Josie[/name_f]!
I’d probably go just [name_f]Josie[/name_f]
Have you thought about [name_f]Jovie[/name_f] or [name_f]Jozie[/name_f] too? ![]()
I would go with [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. A formal name if needed with a nice number of nicknames.
I love both! It would depend entirely on if the longer, elegant, classic/vintage vibe or the fun, bubbly, girl next door kind of vibe was a better fit for my family.
Going with [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] nn [name_f]Josie[/name_f] would let you use both but if you intend to exclusively use [name_f]Josie[/name_f] and [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] would literally only ever be on official paperwork then I would just do [name_f]Josie[/name_f].
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f] gets my vote.
Josephine!! ![]()
I adore [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]! She’d be my preference ![]()
I would choose [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] personally because I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Josie[/name_f] (my favourite [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] nicknames are probably [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Effie[/name_f] or Jovie).
But I think [name_f]Josie[/name_f] works as a full name if the question is more whether [name_f]Josie[/name_f] is “enough” on its own!
i know a couple people called “just” josie, and have never actually met a josephine so i like josie a bit better ![]()
