What do you think of the name [name_f]Jovie[/name_f] (from Elf) ? Maybe a middle name?
I actually know someone who named her little girl this and I’m torn on it. On one hand, it seems really, really childish. On the other hand…it has a certain charm to it. It has a beautiful sound and seems so happy…which is such a great quality in today’s world. Idk…the name is really growing on me and I’m half-tempted to run it by my husband, myself…
Character names certainly aren’t unheard of…so I do think that [name_f]Jovie[/name_f] could work. I do think that it might be hard to pair with anything though, especially as a middle name (just reminds me of Bon [name_m]Jovi[/name_m] lol).
I love it! Definitely works on a child and adult in my opinion.
I do not like it. I think of Elf, Bon [name_m]Jovi[/name_m], anchovies. I’m not a fan of the sound.
[name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Jovanna[/name_f]? or [name_f]Josephina[/name_f]? It’s longer and sounds a bit less childish, maybe something that might look better on business applications. Its a pretty Name and I think it Comes from the Italian [name_f]Giovanna[/name_f]. That said, I love the Name [name_f]Jovie[/name_f] as a nickname. Very cute and spunky but at the same time sweet. It reminds me of a happy [name_m]Little[/name_m] girl, one with a big heart.
If you like that, another Name you might like is [name_u]Josie[/name_u].
