When you hear the name [name_u]Jude[/name_u], do you think girl or boy?

I definitely think boy, but I wouldn’t be surprised to meet a girl with the name!

I know a [name_u]Jude[/name_u] (male) so I think of him but I could see it being used as a nickname for [name_f]Judith[/name_f] or an alternate to [name_f]Judy[/name_f] as well.

Both really … It’s more popular for boys now where I live, and it’s one of my favourite names for a boy – but the only Judes I’ve ever known were women (Judiths who went exclusively by Jude).

i would assume boy, but i prefer it in a girl. honestly though, it’s perfect for both.

The only [name_u]Jude[/name_u] I’ve known was a boy but I honestly adore it for both! I wouldn’t assume either or!

Boy. It’s a [name_u]Judah[/name_u] nn to me, and the only [name_u]Jude[/name_u] I have ever met was a guy.

I would think it was a boy, but my mom was occasionally called this and her name was [name_f]Judith[/name_f].

A boy would be my first assumption but I wouldn’t be surprised to meet a female [name_u]Jude[/name_u] either!!

On its own, [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is 100% all boy to me, although my niece goes to school with a girl named [name_u]Jude[/name_u]!
I do think it’s cute as a nickname for [name_f]Judith[/name_f] though, reminds me of a character I love!

I would assume a boy, but it’s actually one of the few names I love equally on a girl as well!
