Nice name.

The Italian version, [name_f]Giuditta[/name_f], is in my longtime favourites. I plan to save [name_f]Giuditta[/name_f] for a future daughter, first or middle.

Both versions mean praised which is a nice meaning.

[name_f]Judy[/name_f] / Giudi is cute. Ditta is nice too as nickname.

[name_f]Judith[/name_f] is solid and strong, with the cool unisex nn of [name_u]Jude[/name_u], but also [name_f]Judy[/name_f] which is sweet. I imagine [name_f]Judith[/name_f] to be confident, smart and witty.

I get warrior queen vibes from [name_f]Judith[/name_f]. I think of [name_f]Judith[/name_f] and Holofernes but it also sounds medieval to me. [name_f]Judy[/name_f] is sweet but [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is so cool!

I really like Judith!!! Would use her in a heartbeat, was it not for a relative I really didnt wish to honour

I find her serious and and yet sweet, like that girl that always tries way too hard in class but would give your her answers the second you asked. She’s baby pink and early rising on [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] morning.

I like nn [name_f]Judy[/name_f]!

I like [name_f]Judith[/name_f]! I have good personal connections to the name since it’s one of my grandmother’s names who goes by [name_f]Judy[/name_f]. I also am a big fan of more “vintage” feeling names that haven’t yet made full comebacks.

First impression is it’s a sweet name, perhaps honoring a relative or the parent(s) wanted an old-school feel. [name_f]Judith[/name_f] seems very kind and grounded to me. Makes me imagine a very down-to-earth individual. Aesthetic-wise I imagine gingham and denim, summer days, a love of nature, and dedicated journaling. :basket::open_book::blossom:

I really like it. Not currently popular or trending but the right kind of vintage to blend in well with her peers. [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_f]Judy[/name_f] are both good nickname options that help the name suit a wide variety of people.

Oh, I love Judith!! I hated it until I was assigned the name for a class activity, then I was surprised at how much I liked using it!

[name_f]Judith[/name_f] does feel very vintage to me but I think it is ready for a comeback! I despise the nickname [name_f]Judy[/name_f] otherwise I’d consider using it for a daughter one day myself.

[name_m]General[/name_m] impression: intelligent, witty, kind, kind of a helpful older sister or a favorite aunt vibe, old long dresses and braids, etc.

I really like [name_f]Judith[/name_f] :basket::teddy_bear:

In my opinion [name_f]Judith[/name_f] feels homely, warm and comforting. Aesthetically she has this dark academia vibe you can see her in gothic libraries bestowed with a rare collection of first editions. [name_f]Judith[/name_f] is smart, bookish and quiet with dark features and oversized glasses. [name_f]Judith[/name_f] is sweet endearing name that has a smart bookish energy for some reason she feels like a well tailored vintage suit the secret gem in the back of the charity shop. You look trailing around all these charity shops looking for a gem and you find this amazing suit. A gorgeous well made suit with brilliant stitching, a wonderful lining and deep pockets this suit is everything you wanted but didn’t expect to find. That’s [name_f]Judith[/name_f] she’s everything you want in a name but feels completely unexpected also the nickname [name_f]Judy[/name_f] is fun and livens her up.

[name_f]Judith[/name_f] is so lovely. So stodgy in the sweetest way. I think she could be so fresh paired with a stylistically different middle or sibling (or both)!

I think of [name_f]Judith[/name_f] as a farming, doilies, muddy fingers, and [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] dinners name—with a bit of unusual bite. It’s fabulous!

I think [name_f]Judith[/name_f] is one of the “grandma” names that deserves a comeback. [name_u]Jude[/name_u] would be such a sweet, cool, sparky nn for a little girl, too!

I would totally consider it for my list because I dig the vintage vibe, but we had a dog named [name_f]Judy[/name_f] (we didn’t name her but we kept it!) and it fit her so well that we couldn’t use it for a human child

I am a Judith! I’m quiet. I love to read. I love the country and the mountains. I love history, old houses, and antiques. I once lived in a little cottage, and I loved it. I love my family.

I never liked my name growing up. However, I was named after someone very dear to me. So I never felt that my name could really be anything other than Judith.

[name_f]Judith[/name_f] is good, I think it deserves a comeback. The nn [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is really cool. I imagine [name_f]Judith[/name_f] as someone who is smart, maybe a leader, someone who people can rely on and confide in. Also someone who doesn’t mix up their words.
