What do you think of it?
Our daughter’s name is [name]Juliette[/name] but she goes exclusively by [name]Jules[/name] (her choice). I think it absolutely works. When she introduces herself, no one ever says “Oh- is [name]Jules[/name] short for something?”. I say go for it

I like the idea of having it as a nickname, even if it is used exclusively. Then, if your daughter just isn’t a [name]Jules[/name], there are other options, like her full name or another nickname. I like [name]Julie[/name], [name]Juliet[/name], and [name]Julia[/name] as full names for the nickname [name]Jules[/name].
As adorable as [name]Jules[/name] is, I think it works best as a NN, with [name]Julia[/name] or [name]Juliet[/name] or [name]Juliana[/name] or something similar to fall back on. Granted, it’s not as nicknamey as [name]Abby[/name] or [name]Maggie[/name] or [name]Katie[/name] would be on its own, but it would still seem a bit off to me.
