I see these two names thrown around a lot, and since they’re so similar, I bet most of us have a favorite. What does everyone prefer, [name]Julia[/name] or [name]Juliet[/name]?
Personally, I’m a [name]Juliet[/name] fan. While [name]Julia[/name] is ok, it just doesn’t do much for me. I find it pretty ordinary.
[name]Juliet[/name] - I think it combines the cute, friendly feel of [name]Julie[/name] with the mature elegance of [name]Julia[/name]. Also somehow the “t” adds a little bit of spunk and power that the other two seem to lack. [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Ivy[/name] would be nice…
I think I’m the only one, since both seem so popular on Nameberry, but I have a strong distaste for both [name]Julia[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name]/[name]Juliette[/name]. They seem so overused and I never saw the appeal. Plus I don’t see the literary [name]Juliet[/name] as a worthy character to name a child after.
I’m with Jackiet- I’m not a fan of the literary [name]Juliet[/name]. As for the names, I like both, but I don’t love either. They’re both fine, just not for me. I prefer the [name]Juliette[/name] spelling to [name]Juliet[/name]- it seems softer and not as harsh. But between [name]Julia[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name], I don’t really have a favorite, or if I do it changes almost daily. Today I think I’d say [name]Julia[/name], but not by much.
[name]Julia[/name], I think. It’s just so timeless and sophisticated, the kind of name you absolutely can’t go wrong with. It’s one of my favorites. I think [name]Juliet[/name] is gorgeous, too, but it’s a little bit more trendy…
My favorite is definitely [name]Juliet[/name]. [name]Julia[/name] is alright but I feel like it’s really popular, even more so than [name]Juliet[/name]. I lvoe the nickname [name]Jules[/name], which could work for either name…
