while it may have been popular in the 60s, I wouldnât actually consider [name_u]Julie[/name_u] to be as dated as some of the other names popular around that time (e.g. Linda). I think it could definitely make a comeback!
Julie is one of my favorite names! It does feel dated to me, but that doesnât stop me from loving the sound.
I like Julie most, then Juliana, then Julia.
Love this spelling!
I like [name_u]Julie[/name_u]! As well as [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Julianna[/name_f], [name_f]Julia[/name_f] and [name_f]Judy[/name_f].
I love all forms of [name_f]Julia[/name_f]. I had a friend in high school called [name_u]Julie[/name_u], I know a girl at college called [name_f]Julianna[/name_f], a little 5 year old at my church named [name_f]Julia[/name_f], and my Grandmotherâs name was [name_f]Julia[/name_f] but we called her Grandma [name_u]Jules[/name_u] and my Pap called her [name_u]Julie[/name_u]. .
:two_Maybe [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] or [name_f]Julietta[/name_f] as a middle or first hearts: [name_u]Love[/name_u], [name_u]Love[/name_u], [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Julia[/name_f] and will probably incorporatname.
e it into my daughterâs name someday.
It does feel a little dated but not in a bad way, more in a charming retro way that i would be pretty delighted to see on a little a little kid. I have [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and [name_f]Julianna[/name_f] on my own list so [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] is my favorite of the options in your post but I do really like just [name_u]Julie[/name_u] too.
I love Julie!! It feels youthful and fun to me!
I definitely think [name_u]Julie[/name_u] and [name_f]Julia[/name_f] are making a comeback! I prefer [name_f]Julia[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliana[/name_f], but still like [name_u]Julie[/name_u].
I actually dont see [name_u]Julie[/name_u] as being that dated. For me I would put it in the âeternally youthfulâ category along with [name_f]Jill[/name_f], [name_f]Susy[/name_f] & [name_f]Sally[/name_f]. Those few names that, even after they fall out of fashion, they always feel like they should belong to a young person.
[name_u]Ive[/name_u] known one that is now about 35, but I wouldnt be at all surprised to meet a young [name_u]Julie[/name_u]. It makes me think of [name_u]Julie[/name_u] [name_m]Andrews[/name_m] which personally isnt a bad association.
[name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_u]Julie[/name_u]! Although I myself am dated
(Iâm 38) I really like my name. I wouldnât quite call it classic and I donât think itâs ready to be trendy again, but I think it will make a comeback at some point. Itâs such a sweet name. I think it would actually be delightful to meet a baby [name_u]Julie[/name_u]. Fwiw my legal name is [name_f]Julia[/name_f] but I always went by [name_u]Julie[/name_u] and I wouldnât recommend that- it was confusing. [name_f]Julia[/name_f] is a great name too but it feels more regal and a bit snobby to me. [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] both seem overly frilly to me.
It feels dated to me too because most people I know with the name are 50+. I do know a couple Julies who are in their mid 20âs, and it even feels dated to me for them
[name_f]Julia[/name_f] is a name I love!
Itâs very dated to me, the only Julies I know are above the age of 40. I think [name_f]Julia[/name_f], [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] arenât dated though.
