I like [name_f]Jane[/name_f] as a middle name but I feel like it’s too choppy with [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. Does [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] work or are there better middle names to use?
Also is [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] or [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] a better spelling? I like the simplicity of [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] but I like that [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] is a little more separate from the character.
I’m normally not a huge fan of alliteration but [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is elegant and beautiful! [name_f]My[/name_f] preference about the spelling depends on the combo, in that case I prefer how [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] looks.
I really like [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] I think it’s a gorgeous Shakespearean choice and despite the character receiving mixed reviews I don’t think the association is negative. [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] feels summery and elegant. I also really like the nickname [name_u]Jules[/name_u]. I personally prefer the simplicity of [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] I just feel the additional letters are unnecessarily fussy. I think [name_f]Jane[/name_f] sounds sweet with [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] combination!
I adore [name_f]Juliette[/name_f], particularly this spelling. I would nickname her Jetted/Her. I don’t think I love the middle name [name_f]Jane[/name_f], but it certainly works.
I like [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] over [name_f]Juliette[/name_f], and appreciate the alliteration and sweetness of [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f], but then I’m a sucker for alliteration. (And then you have the possibility of the nickname JJ! )
Spelling-wise, I prefer the sleek simplicity of [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. But in the U.S. at least, [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] is actually the more popular spelling—so it certainly wouldn’t be weird or a hassle to use that spelling. To me the extra letters just seem unnecessary.
@Paigefoster I think your expertise on JJ names would be much appreciated here!
Juliette [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is lovely!! I prefer [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] because, as you said, it does provide some distinction from the character. It also feels more complete, in a way.
Juliet [name_f]Jane[/name_f] is okay but the J middle doesn’t flow as well as other possibilities. I much prefer the simplicity of the [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] spelling.
