Which spelling do you prefer?
I much prefer [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].
[name_u]Love[/name_u] the streamlined, sophisticated [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].
I’m torn. [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] looks very pretty, and I think helps to distance the name from [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] & [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. On the other hand, the extra letters are rather unnecessary, and spelling would constantly need to be corrected. You might even get a few people trying to pronounce [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] joo-lee-et-tee, to make sense of the extra letters.
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] - it looks so much tidier
I prefer the [name_m]French[/name_m] flair of [name_f]Juliette[/name_f].
Like Choupette above, I prefer the [name_m]French[/name_m] flair of [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]. It looks feminine and sophisticated to me and it also separates it from the [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] character.
I like the tailored look of [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. I think the [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] character has also made this the “default” spelling for most in the English-speaking world, so you’ll likely deal with less correcting. [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] looks a little… extra, to me. If you want a more femme flair, I prefer [name_u]Julianne[/name_u].
The only [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] I know is half-[name_m]French[/name_m] and pronounces her name as joo-lee-ET instead of JOO-lee-et, like the Juliets I know.
I am torn on this one. I like how the [name_m]French[/name_m] sound and look go together so well with [name_f]Juliette[/name_f], but I am also preferring more simple names at the moment, so [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] fits that category. For me it’s a tie and I can’t decide.
ETA I will probably be playing mind tennis with this for a few hours now going back and forth
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f] …
Personally I prefer [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], but they’re both pretty.
I prefer [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], but [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] is also pretty.
