I’m keen on the name [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] these days but curious to know what others think about its future popularity. It’s been steadily, but slowly, rising for past 20 years in both spellings and now [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] is around #250, and [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] around #300. [name_m]How[/name_m] high do you think they will go?

Any thoughts are welcome!

I don’t think [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]/[name_f]Juliette[/name_f] will climb that high, I believe this name will stay out the top 100 just because she doesn’t have the trendy easily used fashionable vibe like [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_f]Ava[/name_f]. My favourite spelling though is [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] : )

I agree with pp on the popularity.
I prefer [name_f]Juliette[/name_f], Its just uber feminine

Yeah, I agree with the pps on the popularity. I believe it will stay out of the top 100. I used to like both spellings, but now I prefer the [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] spelling because it is much simpler.

I actually prefer the [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] spelling, too, but it would be an honor name and the person being honored spelled it [name_f]Juliette[/name_f]-- so I think I would want to stick with the longer version. It also looks better with our surname I think.

Thanks for the insight, everyone! I’m OK with popular names but I’d rather it not go so high that it seems dated later.
