[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all, we are expecting baby #5 (girl) at the end of [name_u]June[/name_u].
I wonder about flow with [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] …[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] and last name is also a single syllable “oo” sound. Also, if we go with nn [name_u]June[/name_u] it will sounds similar to ([name_u]June[/name_u] Pool). I’m sticking with MN [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] after my grandmother so that is not really negotiable.
Our other kids are S@muel, [name_f]Esme[/name_f], [name_u]Georgi[/name_u]@, and [name_m]Charles[/name_m]. Does [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] stick out?
I think [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] is great! It works well with Es [name_u]Georgi[/name_u]@ too! I think it works great with the middle and last name sound too.
I love [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] but I think your concern over the repetitive [name_u]June[/name_u]-[name_f]Ruth[/name_f]-Pool is valid. I think the name still works but if that bugs you too much there are names like [name_f]Clementine[/name_f], [name_f]Jemima[/name_f], [name_f]Virginia[/name_f], [name_f]Marigold[/name_f], or [name_f]Florence[/name_f] which give off much the sane energy as [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], fit well in your sibset, and illuminate the concern over the repetitive -oo sound.
I am not a huge fan of -er name for girls (just a personal preference from growing up with lots of Jennifers and Heathers) but I really love the nickname [name_u]June[/name_u] and I think [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] is a pleasing combination. I think it works well with the sibling names.
[name_f]Lovely[/name_f] with the sibling names. I think the repeated ‘oo’ sounds may be okay, in that [name_u]Juniper[/name_u]'s 3 syllables may work well with the one syllable surname. If you were saying all 3 names together often I would think it’s a problem, but just first and surname, as is usually the case, it’s probably fine.
I think [name_u]Juniper[/name_u] sticks out as trendy compared to the classy names of your other children.
What about [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], [name_f]Gemma[/name_f], or [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]? …they sound similar to [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], but are timeless and classic like your others.
