What is the image for this name? Is it outdated or considered a timeless, traditional boy’s name? Is the image too youthful? Would it be a dignified name for when a boy is in his 40s and beyond?
- What is the image for this name? I think of [name]Justin[/name] Timberlake. I can actually see [name]Justin[/name] as pretty much anything. I think [name]Justin[/name] would be a cool, funny, athletic guy.
- Is it outdated or considered a classic boys’ name? I don’t consider it a classic, though maybe it could be a modern classic. It’s been in the top 51 since '73, and it’s been in the top 1000 all be 3 years.
- Is the image too youthful? Definitely not
- Would it be a dignified name for when a boy is in his 40s and beyond? Yes, I can easily see a 50 year old, successful [name]Justin[/name]; a grandpa [name]Justin[/name]; a 20 something [name]Justin[/name], etc. It ages very well in my opinion.
hmm. i don’t think justin is any of those things, which is weird. i wouldn’t say it’s timeless, because it’s not a classic like, say elizabeth or james… yet i don’t think it’s outdated since it’s never really been a flash-in-the-pan/over-saturated/trendy (at one time) name, like, say stephanie, jennifer, keith, or jason.
in my opinion, justin totally fits in with today’s kids with it’s -in ending sound, yet transcends the -aden trend (which will be dated in 20 years) because it’s been around for a while. because of this, I also think it will work on any age. while justin isn’t a personal fave of mine, i think it’s a perfectly nice, handsome name (and i’d rather meet a little justin than any of the other aforementioned names).
nice choice! good luck
Quite honestly I think that [name]Justin[/name] is a ho hum kind of name, not really trendy but still being used, not really timeless just a name that comes and goes and it feels a little dated after all the [name]Justins[/name] of the 1970’s.
[name]Justice[/name] is a name that has taken its place but I would prefer [name]Jackson[/name].
I don’t think this one will have any trouble aging. It’s “young” only because of its recent popularity.
