Kaden or Kaiden

What spelling do you prefer?

[name_m]Kaiden[/name_m] x

[name_m]Kaiden[/name_m]. I can’t help but read [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] as ‘Cad- en’.

[name_m]Kaiden[/name_m]

[name_m]Kaiden[/name_m] feels more complete to me.

[name_m]Kaiden[/name_m]

I’d pronounce [name_m]Kaiden[/name_m] KY-den and [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] KAY-den, so, depends on which pronunciation you prefer.

Seconding this. They look like two different names to me.

i personally really dislike any name other than aiden itself spelled with AI, it’s a very ambiguous diphthong - especially with kai being so popular, kaiden becomes more confusing. though yes, im sure most people would assume it’s an -aden name before anything else, i think the spellings should be narrowed down at least to what makes the most sense.

so i agree with the other comments of kaden and kaiden basically being different names. with so many kais, kaiden has become kai (rhyming with eye)- den.

if kaden feels incomplete, i’d say add a y or an e instead of a i, really.

I like the more sleek, streamlined look of [name_m]Kaden[/name_m]. [name_m]Kaiden[/name_m] seems more superfluous in comparison.

I dislike both intensely and don’t even like [name_m]Caden[/name_m]. Too many Cadens, many of whom have been hell to teach.

I have no idea what this means but love it :joy:

   thank you for the laugh!

(the -ai- can be pronounced more than one way)
