Kaiden, Kaden, Kayden, WHICH ONE?!

Im starting to really like the name [name_m]Kaden[/name_m]. Spelt [name_m]Kaden[/name_m]. No I or Y.
What are your thoughts on [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] (and the varients)?
Which spelling of [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] do you like the best? And why?

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you think [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] would be too out of place for with [name_m]David[/name_m], [name_m]Warren[/name_m] and [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]?

[name_m]Kaden[/name_m] is my favorite spelling if I must choose. It looks the cleanest and least dated of the three. And yes, it’s very out of place with [name_m]David[/name_m], [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u], and [name_m]Warren[/name_m].

I’m not a fan of [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] (any of the spellings) or most of the variants. They’re just so trendy and seem overdone right now. I don’t think it fits super well with your other boy names either.

Can I say none of them? It is a made up sounding name which is trendy and often misspelled. If I was forced to pick one I would pick [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] because [name_m]Kaiden[/name_m] and [name_u]Kayden[/name_u] are just unnecessary. And I agree with pp it is very out of place with classic names like [name_m]David[/name_m], [name_m]Warren[/name_m] and [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u].

If it weren’t for all the Aidens, Jaydens, Braydens, Zaydens, Haydens etc out there, I think I might like [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] etc. But, I am so tired of every other little boy I meet being named _ayden.

In theory, [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] is a nice name. It has an approachable sound, and the currently popular 2-syllable-ending-with-an-N style. But with the jungle of rhyming names out there, I don’t think it’ll feel special.

Of the spellings listed, I’d choose [name_m]Kaden[/name_m].

Also, I have to say, your boys’ list is lovely. I especially like [name_m]Warren[/name_m]…so familiar, yet so uncommon! In my opinion, [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] doesn’t really “go” with [name_m]David[/name_m], [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] or [name_m]Warren[/name_m]. On the other hand, [name_m]David[/name_m], [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] and [name_m]Warren[/name_m] go together very well!

I don’t think the trendiness should be an issue. If you like it, use it. [name_f]My[/name_f] nephew is a [name_m]Caiden[/name_m], and I think it fits him very well, regardless of how many kids he’ll know with a similar name. I do like the [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] spelling.

I love [name_m]Caden[/name_m], not too fond of any other spelling. [name_m]Caden[/name_m] does not have the same style as [name_m]David[/name_m], [name_m]Warren[/name_m], and [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] but many families have names with different styles. I think [name_m]Warren[/name_m] and [name_m]Caden[/name_m] actually make a nice sibling set.

The other 3 names listed have this sort of lovely vintage aura about them. Like they’re lovely babies and they grow up into sophisticated adults. Is [name_u]Aubry[/name_u] a girl or a boy? [name_m]Just[/name_m] curious because if a boy I would say that [name_m]Caden[/name_m] definitely doesn’t mesh well with them, if a girl I would say not well but doable. [name_m]Caden[/name_m] while I find to be the least fussy of the variants I see Cad at the beginning and want to say it like that. [name_m]Kaiden[/name_m] is a baby I know and I agree the -aden babies are plentiful but its popular because its a fun sound, like wise with the -son babies, your child would definitly fit in with his piers, I’m
Not a huge fan of the name but of all the -adens [name_m]Caiden[/name_m]? Maybe is the clearest and its nicer than the other -[name_u]Aden[/name_u]'s a bit for sure. If you like it you shouldn’t be put off it. However I will suggest [name_m]Holden[/name_m] to you as an alternative that fits your other names and has a similar feel but less heard and ages well.

I would steer clear of the uber trendy [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] and find another classic/traditional name.

I actually think [name_m]Caden[/name_m] with a C is the nicest spelling, and the one that would mesh the best with the potential sibset.

I love [name_m]Kaden[/name_m]. I don’t mind that it’s trendy, it’s trendy because people like it and has a nice sound.

I think [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] is the cleanest. I agree that it doesn’t go well with the sibset at all. But if you love it, use it.

A friend named her son [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] 4 years ago because her and her husband couldn’t agree on a name. And she has honestly regretted it ever since. She says it’s ridiculous how many kids come running at the playground when she yells it. [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] has 1 friend named [name_m]Caden[/name_m], 2 friends named [name_u]Jayden[/name_u], 2 friends named [name_u]Aiden[/name_u]. I am not even exaggerating, I wish I was.

I’m not a fan…it’s a made-up trendy name, overly popular and it’s time to retire all but the original [name_u]Aidan[/name_u]. [name_m]Even[/name_m] that one should be left alone for awhile to recover some of its individuality.

I guess I defy the trend here. I think the I or Y are necessary to ensure the correct pronunciation so it is not pronounced Kad-en. The others seem more phoenetic eg [name_u]Kay[/name_u]-den. I would err to [name_m]Kaiden[/name_m] myself though with [name_u]Kai[/name_u] being increasingly popular I guess it could get misprounounced as [name_u]Kye[/name_u]-den…

If I had to choose a spelling is go with [name_m]Caden[/name_m]/[name_m]Caiden[/name_m] as to me it looks the least made-up (A bit like [name_f]Caitlin[/name_f] and [name_f]Katelynn[/name_f]). However I don’t think that any of them souf particularly great with your other favourites.

First off [name_m]David[/name_m] [name_m]Warren[/name_m] and [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] are great.

Kadin, Kaeden, Kaiden Kayden Caden, Caiden, and Cayden,
As well as [name_u]Jaden[/name_u], [name_u]Jayden[/name_u], [name_u]Brayden[/name_u], [name_u]Hayden[/name_u], [name_u]Aiden[/name_u], [name_u]Aidan[/name_u], and [name_m]Zaden[/name_m] (ect, ect).

I’m just a little tired of hearing these. Three of my younger cousins had babies this year, and they each chose one of these variations.

I worry you will regret using something that sounds so trendy. Your other names sound much more timeless.

[name_f]My[/name_f] sons name is [name_m]Caden[/name_m] and I get a lot of compliments! For some reason where I live it’s not too popular dare I say. If you like it with a K I still think [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] is the nicest spelling. Be warned though you will forever be spelling it to ppl since it is not a given like other names you can say out loud and ppl know how to spell automatically!

4 years ago i called my son [name_m]Caiden[/name_m]. It was quite unusual name then. It might be very trendy at the moment but i still love it and wouldnt change it if i had a chance. And to be honest, i get loads of compliments and surprisingly, a lot of people say they never heard this name before. If you want the name spelled with K i think i would go for [name_m]Kaden[/name_m]

I agree that [name_m]Kaden[/name_m] is my favorite of the spellings you gave, but if I had to choose any spelling of it, I’d pick [name_m]Caden[/name_m]. It looks like nicest to me, honestly. I don’t mind C —>K names (I have one) but I just prefer a C on this name.

I will say, that it does sound a bit out of place with your boy names. [name_m]David[/name_m] and [name_m]Warren[/name_m] are classic names, and [name_m]Caden[/name_m] is a currently trendy name so, that may or may not sway you. It does fit with your girl name though.

I would not use any of the -aden names right now, as they are all overused and trendy. It really does not work with the classic sibset you got going either - [name_m]David[/name_m], [name_m]Warren[/name_m] and [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] are awesome, BTW!

Alternatives that work well with your sibset:
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] - unisex that works well with [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u], and starts with a K. Or you could use [name_m]Kellan[/name_m], which is more masculine.
[name_m]Miles[/name_m]/[name_m]Myles[/name_m] - Think this works especially well with [name_m]Warren[/name_m], has the same cool jazz feel.
[name_m]Frederick[/name_m] - cool classic with super cute nickname [name_u]Freddy[/name_u].
