I like this name but have a good friend with a [name]Kyra[/name]…is this way to close for me to be able to use?
[name]Kyra[/name] is like [name]Keira[/name], no? I’d prefer it spelled [name]Cara[/name] anyway, and maybe that would give it a different enough appearance from [name]Kyra[/name]. I think the sounds are similar, yes, but you could make it work. I find that similar sounds are better than rhyming ones…

I really like the name [name]Cara[/name] spelled this way; then it wouldn’t seem too close to [name]Kyra[/name].
yeah I had thought about [name]Cara[/name] Iam just not to crazy about Cs. Yeah [name]Kyra[/name] is pronounced the same as [name]Keira[/name]
It is similar but I like it spelt either [name]Kara[/name] or [name]Cara[/name]. If it is too close for you, you could just tell your friend your daughter was named after her!LOL
Ha! I feel the opposite way - I’m not a big K fan! I just think C’s are easier (and prettier) to write…
I don’t think it is too close to [name]Kyra[/name], though, even if it is just one or two letters - depending on spelling - different.
