Katara

As some of you have seen recently, I’ve been considering the name [name_f]Katara[/name_f]. I’m not entirely sure about it yet, so I’d like to hear your thoughts. I’m considering nn [name_f]Kat[/name_f], which I love. (I’d also like like add that the strong association is fine with me.)

Thanks!

I think it’s lovely! A nice mix between strong and soft sounds. [name_f]Kat[/name_f] is such a sweet nickname! I know the association, but it’s a positive one in my book :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I like it! Is is pronounced Kuh-tah-ruh or Kuh-TEAR-uh? Either way it’s lovely and I adore [name_f]Kat[/name_f]!

I’m a huge fan of both the name & character! [name_f]Kat[/name_f] would be the perf name for an artistic, sure of herself, but naturally humble girl :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I think it’s a lovely name! For me it might be a little too tied to A:TLA, but that’s just for me - if it’s not something that bothers you (or it’s a perk!) then that’s great. It’s a lovely name with a great sound to it.

I’m not a big fan of its sound tbh (sounds a bit harsh to me) but it’s nice for you

I’ve found it pretty ever since I saw ATLA. It has a nice blend of sounds, and it’s different without sounding strange.

It also reminds me of “katana” (Japanese for sword), but I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing.
