This is totally random…but if any of you have read “The Hunger Games” trilogy, you know that [name]Katniss[/name] and Peeta get married and have two kids, a boy and a girl, fifteen years after the end of “Mockingjay.” But the kids are not given names by the author (that I know of, anyway).
If you had to guess what they named their kids, what do you think?
My answers:
Girl: [name]Primrose[/name] (for [name]Katniss[/name]'s little sister)
Boy: [name]Frost[/name] or [name]River[/name] (something related to nature, like his mother)
Enjoy! I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.
I don’t think [name]Katniss[/name] would want them to be named after anyone since she never wants them to know the role she and Peeta played. I mostly used [name]Ivy[/name] and [name]Remus[/name] because of this adorable picture of them. HennaFaunway - Student, Writer | DeviantArt
[name]Senna[/name] [name]Rue[/name] (because [name]Senna[/name] is a flower like [name]Katniss[/name], and it sounds like [name]Cinna[/name] and [name]Rue[/name])
[name]Rye[/name] Peters (because [name]Rye[/name] is a type of bread and Peters is kind of like [name]Peter[/name]!)
Boy: [name]Fisher[/name] (Finnick liked to fish) Cineraria (For [name]Cinna[/name] and its a flower) Mellark
Girl: [name]Primrose[/name] (For [name]Katniss[/name]'s sister) Tree ([name]Rue[/name] liked trees) Mellark
(I’m not sure about middles. I was going to put in [name]Rue[/name] but I doubt [name]Katniss[/name] would want to remember The Hunger Games every time she writes her childrens names. Instead I put in names that reminded them of happy times like hunting and playing in the meadow)
