It’s pronounced just like the two words “[name_f]Katie[/name_f]” and “did.”
Oh are you serious? I thought it was something complicated like [name_f]Mathilde[/name_f] being pronounced Ma-[name_m]Teel[/name_m].
[name_m]Just[/name_m] [name_f]Kaitie[/name_f] did?
I’m sorry, OP, not trying to be rude, but I sincerely would not name my child this.
[name_f]Coraline[/name_f] Katydid actually doesn’t even flow that well to me, anyways, even if I did like the name =P
Of course, if it feels like “the name” then by all means use it. It’s your baby =]
She can always go just by her first name or change her middle one if she doesn’t like it.
I am not too fond of katydids or crickets and they can become a huge problem to farmers and others. I personally would not want to name my daughter after either of them.
I definitely vote no for Katydid.
Sorry, but like the previous posters, I have to veto Katydid as a name.
[name_f]Coraline[/name_f] is already an unusual name, and I think a middle like Katydid just makes it into a silly, childish name, especially compared to a more serious name like sister [name_f]Gillian[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f].
[name_f]Coraline[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f], or even [name_f]Coraline[/name_f] [name_f]Katie[/name_f] could work!
What did [name_f]Katy[/name_f] do?
Katydid is too bizarre.
