Kayella?

What do you think of the name Kayella fora little girl?
[name_u]Kay[/name_u] is phonetic, not like eye sound in Kayak.

If you like it, please suggest some middlenames

Seems like a low quality smoosh of the [name_f]Ella[/name_f] trend and the [name_u]Kay[/name_u] trend. Literally. Sorry, not a fan!

I can’t say it without thinking it should be [name_f]Kayla[/name_f].

What she said. It seems trashy to me. [name_f]Ella[/name_f] is great on it’s own. [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_u]Kay[/name_u] Lastname.

I’m not a fan of Kayella. It looks like a modern invention and smoosh of [name_u]Kay[/name_u] and [name_f]Ella[/name_f].

It sounds terribly made up. I don’t like [name_f]Kayla[/name_f], and Kayella is an even worse name. Sorry to be harsh.

I think [name_f]Kayla[/name_f] would be much better. I like the suggestion of [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_u]Kay[/name_u]. Kayella sounds made up to me too.

I don’t like Kayella either. I immediately read it as [name_f]Kayla[/name_f], even though I know it’s not. It seems made up. Maybe you could go with [name_u]Kay[/name_u] [name_f]Ella[/name_f] or [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_u]Kay[/name_u] as a double name. It’s the same sound, but less made up.

I too dislike Kayella. Sorry, but I really like the suggestion of [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_u]Kay[/name_u]!

I agree with PP…they are better as separate names than blended together. I’m not sure why but when I said the name aloud it reminded me of Cruella (DeVille)…and I haven’t seen that Dalmatian flick in years.

I strongly disagree with the use of the term ‘trashy’ on this one, it’s no trashier than a smoosh like [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] or [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f]. I’m not the biggest fan, but, I can see it working.

It does sound pretty but I do think it will get mixed up with [name_f]Kayla[/name_f].

I love it for a princess in a storybook… for a real person, not the best!
