I feel like I’m on a merry-go-round! [name_m]Just[/name_m] when I think hubs & I have found a name for baby #3 one of us changes our mind. So I’m asking you creative and awesome berries for some help!
We decided (with much debate) to stay with the hard c/k sound.
Our last name starts with Ch
he’s our first and only boy
Heres whats been pulled after the “ok so we have a name then!?” Discussion:
[name_m]Casper[/name_m] (hubby recently got cold feet)
[name_m]Calvin[/name_m] (I pulled it bc I don’t like the meaning)
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m] (Sounds to much like [name_f]Kayla[/name_f])
[name_u]Cruz[/name_u]. (He vetoed it!)
Any thoughts & suggestions would be awesome!! Thanks ladies
Agree with removing [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] from your list.
[name_m]Conor[/name_m]/[name_m]Connor[/name_m] - I really like this one for you with your girls’ names.
[name_m]Kelvin[/name_m] - very similar to [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] but has a different meaning - Nameberry lists it as a Scottish river name.
[name_m]Callum[/name_m] - has that [name_u]Cal[/name_u]- start the same as [name_m]Calvin[/name_m].
[name_u]Chris[/name_u] - close to [name_u]Cruz[/name_u] in sound and can use long forms [name_m]Christopher[/name_m]/[name_m]Christian[/name_m].
[name_m]Cassius[/name_m] or [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] - close to [name_m]Casper[/name_m].
[name_m]Conrad[/name_m] - it has that distinct two syllables like [name_m]Casper[/name_m] does
[name_m]Kellen[/name_m] perhaps? My son went to school with a [name_m]Kellen[/name_m] and at first I though “huh?!? [name_m]Kellen[/name_m], for a boy, that sounds like [name_f]Helen[/name_f]!” but it quickly grew on me and now it’s on of the top contenders for my third baby.
I would say:
[name_m]Callum[/name_m] or [name_m]Calum[/name_m]
[name_m]Christian[/name_m]
[name_u]Carter[/name_u]
[name_u]Carson[/name_u]
[name_m]Kingston[/name_m]
And of course, you could always change the C to a K.
I really like [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] and [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] but I agree that [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] is too similar in sound to [name_f]Kayla[/name_f]. I love the suggestion of [name_m]Kellen[/name_m] or [name_m]Kellan[/name_m], I prefer the second spelling.
[name_m]Kellen[/name_m]/[name_m]Kellan[/name_m] is too similar to [name_u]Kelsie[/name_u]. I mean they both start with Kel! Not a good idea. I agree, [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] and [name_f]Kayla[/name_f] are too close.
You guys are awesome! I really love all the feed back [name_m]Callum[/name_m] & [name_m]Connor[/name_m] are in the running but I haven’t given up on [name_m]Casper[/name_m] yet!! I simply adore the sound, meaning and uniqueness. I can’t understand why [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] is such a hit and people scrunch their nose at [name_m]Casper[/name_m]! Now for a middle name lol!
[name_m]Caspar[/name_m] is the best on the list. Good on hubby for pulling [name_u]Cruz[/name_u]…(sorry!)
Liking the suggestions of [name_u]Carson[/name_u], [name_m]Cooper[/name_m], [name_m]Kellen[/name_m], [name_u]Carter[/name_u], [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u]…also;
[name_u]Carey[/name_u], Cristophe, [name_m]Clarke[/name_m], [name_m]Cash[/name_m], [name_m]Cole[/name_m], [name_m]Kip[/name_m], [name_u]Kit[/name_u]…
