Kaylee or Kailey?

If you had to pick between these two spellings only, both pronounced kay-lee, which one would you pick and why?

[name_f]Do[/name_f] you get different images or personalities or ages or colors for them? I’m really interested in this  Does one look more classic or more modern? Would they be the same age, hair color, eye color, personalities etc.?

[name_f]Kailey[/name_f] or [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f]?

I prefer [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f] - I like how it looks exactly how it’s said.

Both of these spellings do give me the same imagery - shades of orange, pink and purple, fluffy cushions, lava lamps, horse posters (idk why), stickers and notepads.

[name_f]Kaylee[/name_f] looks softer and more natural to me!

As someone who has a similar name IRL (and has been called both of these names numerous times throughout my life), please go with [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f] if you want kay-lee. It is likely to get mispronounced as is (Kylee, [name_f]Karlee[/name_f], Kasee, even though those letters aren’t present)

but if it’s spelled [name_f]Kailey[/name_f] she will be called “Kai-lee” about 95% of the time.

If I’m being perfectly honest, I don’t like either. They both feel very modern, which isn’t really my style, but if I had to pick, it would be [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f].
I agree with the imagery that @greyblue has presented. I would like to add that both [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f] spellings would be blonde, outgoing, and liking parties.

I much prefer [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f]. [name_m]Easy[/name_m] to spell and no pronunciation issues.

[name_f]Kaylee[/name_f] would be my pick. I definitely agree with the y2k, horse-girl energy from the name

The name [name_f]Kailey[/name_f] reminds me of the American [name_f]Girl[/name_f] [name_u]Doll[/name_u], with more coastal surf energy

[name_f]Kailey[/name_f], I strongly dislike -ee endings because they look overly cutesy to me. The name as a whole feels very modern but the [name_f]Kailey[/name_f] spelling looks a tiny bit more classic.
