Keela vs. Keelah

This is our top contender for a girl name, but DH and I disagree on the spelling. I think [name]Keela[/name] is straightforward and simple while Keelah… well, I think it does look pretty but the H is unnecessary. WDYT?

[name]Keela[/name]. The “h” is unnecessary and adds nothing to the name.

[name_f]My[/name_f] mother’s name is Kelia… Pronounced the same as [name_f]Keela/name_f… I always loved the way she spelled it… I don’t usually prefer names with two of the same letters side by side… I think [name_f]Keela[/name_f] is simple and straightforward… Keelah is a little more fancy and sophisticated… Either choice would be lovely.

I prefer [name_f]Keela[/name_f], but I think Keelah looks okay, too, I don’t mind the H.

[name_f]Keela[/name_f]. I like Kelia too, though I would have thought it was said kee-lee-ah.

Cool meaning!

I definitely like [name_f]Keela[/name_f] better. The h doesn’t seem necessary.

I prefer Keelah actually…reminds me of the silent h in [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]

[name_f]Keela[/name_f]. I’m usually a fan of adding a letter to a name if it looks good, and that’s not to say Keelah doesn’t, but I think [name_f]Keela[/name_f] works much better visually.
