Hi there.

I voted for [name_f]Kira[/name_f]. I think that it’s just the easiest. It’s clearly two syllables; ‘[name_m]Keer[/name_m]-uh’. [name_f]Kiera[/name_f] & [name_f]Keira[/name_f] gets kind of awkward, because you’re not sure if it’s ‘keer-uh’ or a really quick ‘key-air-uh’. It’s not a slow ‘key-air-uh’ like I’d image [name_f]Ciara[/name_f] or [name_f]Kiara[/name_f] would be. That this make sense? All that being said, I strongly prefer [name_f]Kiera[/name_f] to [name_f]Keira[/name_f]. I think that’s way more authentic, & [name_f]Keira[/name_f] is just a spelling that got popular because of the actress. It doesn’t seem right, but I may be wrong. I actually kind of like [name_f]Ciara[/name_f] best, although that may get mispronounced as ‘See-air-uh’. Either way, definitely stick w/the ‘K’ or ‘C’. The ‘Q’ looks completely off & confusing.

Hope my rambling helps.

I was thinking that too!

I’ve always like [name_f]Kira[/name_f] - sweet and simple

Keira is my default spelling because of [name_f]Keira[/name_f] Knightley!

I would have said [name_f]Kiera[/name_f] until [name_f]Keira[/name_f] Knightley’s fame changed the default spelling to [name_f]Keira[/name_f]. I have known of [name_f]Kira[/name_f] and Kyras who pronounce their name [name_u]Kye[/name_u]-rah, so would avoid that spelling.
I really like [name_f]Keira[/name_f].

I love Ciara too. Not the Q spellings.

Kira, then [name_f]Keira[/name_f], then [name_f]Kiera[/name_f] for me. I like them all.

The Q variations, not so much.

My most preferred version is actually [name_f]Ciara[/name_f].

I want to be authentic and say [name_f]Kiera[/name_f] is the best spelling, but Knightley’s impact on the name has been so vast that everyone (including me) will automatically spell it [name_f]Keira[/name_f]. And somehow I actually prefer [name_f]Keira[/name_f] visually as well.

[name_f]Kira[/name_f] is cool too. Feels a bit more trendy. (EDIT: someone above mentioned that there might be pronunciation issues with this ky-rah vs kee-rah and I agree! Maybe steer clear of this variation.)

The Q variations all feel very [name_f]Star[/name_f] Wars except Qira which works the best, but I think you’d still have a little trouble with them.

Keira, then [name_f]Kiera[/name_f]. I’m not a fan of the Qs at all. I love [name_f]Ciara[/name_f]!
