I prefer [name_m]Kellen[/name_m]. It feels more intuitive to me, as I went to school with one for a very long time. Both are nice—and this is a great name!

I think either works, but have always seen the spelling as [name_m]Kellan[/name_m].

[name_m]Kellan[/name_m] for me - I don’t mind [name_m]Kellen[/name_m], but I like how the ‘a’ adds something more, makes it less symmetrical

I actually really like both about equally. It’s a very underrated and handsome name! [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] conjures [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] [name_m]Lutz[/name_m] (which is a neutral/good association), while I don’t have any for [name_m]Kellen[/name_m]. If forced to choose, I would probably say I slightly prefer [name_m]Kellen[/name_m] because the symmetry of the vowels is pleasing for me.

I’m nearly equal on these… At first I was leaning toward [name_m]Kellan[/name_m], as it’s the spelling I’ve seen more often. But then I thought of [name_m]Ian[/name_m] McKellen, so the e-spelling works fine, too.

Probably a slight preference for [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] overall, but both nice!

I know a [name_m]Kellen[/name_m], who says “Ellen with a K on the front.” Because of this, I think -an reads as more masculine, and -en as more unisex.

I prefer [name_m]Kellan[/name_m]— I went to school with one so [name_m]Kellen[/name_m] just looks a bit strange to me! Still, both are nice! [name_u]Love[/name_u] the name. I also agree with what @emilyllytle said: [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] seems more masculine while [name_m]Kellen[/name_m] leans unisex.

I prefer the -an ending.
