I prefer [name_m]Kellan[/name_m] for a boy- it looks more masculine, whereas [name_m]Kellen[/name_m] looks more like a smoosh of [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] and [name_f]Ellen[/name_f].
Normally, I’m a sucker for symmetry, but something about [name_m]Kellen[/name_m] looks off.
I prefer [name_m]Kellan[/name_m].
I am honestly not sure which I prefer. I think either works well. If pressed, I think I slightly prefer the uniformness of [name_m]Kellen[/name_m].
[name_m]Kellan[/name_m] for me. I also hear the ‘[name_f]Ellen[/name_f]’ too much in [name_m]Kellen[/name_m].
[name_m]Kellan[/name_m]. It looks and sounds slightly more masculine.
[name_m]Kellan[/name_m] with an “a” looks more like a first name whereas [name_m]Kellen[/name_m] looks like it’s the end of a surname (eg. Hobbit actor Sir [name_m]Ian[/name_m] McKellen aka Gandalf). I voted for [name_m]Kellan[/name_m].
[name_f]My[/name_f] 6.5 month old son’s name is [name_m]Kellan[/name_m]! It was the spelling I originally saw used, and like others said [name_m]Kellen[/name_m] makes me think of [name_f]Ellen[/name_f].
We love it!
