could it work this day and age? It’s my Daddy’s name, and I think that it would be a good way to potentially honor him (even if he didn’t want a [name]Ken[/name] [name]Jr[/name] when my brother was born ). Or is too much of an older man name that you can’t get past? I’d probably just call him [name]Kenny[/name] anyways.
I like the name.
I [name]LOVE[/name] the name!! [name]Kenneth[/name] is super handsome. I believe it can totally work in this day and age.
I really like the name! In case you end up wanting variations, I love the name [name]Kenyon[/name] as well.
I had some bad experiences with [name]Kenneth[/name]. The ones I know are all hicks. I think it could work fine though.
In case you want variations:
[name]Kenan[/name]
[name]Kendall[/name]
[name]Kendrick[/name]
Kennan
[name]Kennard[/name]
[name]Kennedy[/name]
[name]Kent[/name]
[name]Kenton[/name]
[name]Kenyon[/name]
I know a 22 year old [name]Kenneth[/name] ([name]Kenny[/name]) who is awesome. Kick-ass rock musician who studied politics and theology.
He definitely helps make me like this name.
I think it’s a perfectly nice name, and I like the -th ending, like [name]Keith[/name], [name]Heath[/name], etc. I know a little boy who goes by [name]Kenny[/name], but his name is actually [name]Kenn[/name] (2 n’s, no -eth). I think calling your son [name]Kenneth[/name] instead of [name]Kenny[/name] would be really cool, though…more sophisticated.
I think [name]Kenny[/name] is really adorable, but [name]Kenneth[/name] feels very dated to me, sorry. Probably because it’s my great-uncle’s name. I love the option of [name]Kendall[/name] to honor a [name]Kenneth[/name], though!
I know a 60-something [name]Kenneth[/name] and a 2 year old [name]Kenneth[/name]. The older one goes by [name]Ken[/name] and the younger one goes by [name]Kenny[/name]. The younger one definately makes it seem wearable to me just because he’s so darn cute.
I think I’ll just stick with [name]Kenneth[/name]. I’ve had problems in the past with people named [name]Kendrick[/name] and [name]Kendall[/name], so that’s out. [name]Kenyon[/name] sounds like ‘[name]Kenyan[/name]’, and I’ve always dreamed of adopting internationally one day, so I don’t see that working out well. I might just settle with using it as a middle name, ie [name]Gabriel[/name] [name]Kenneth[/name] or [name]Asa[/name] [name]Kenneth[/name]
I have a soft spot for [name]Kenneth[/name] and [name]Ken[/name] and [name]Kenny[/name]. The two I have known well were handsome and tragic and epic. Aside from my associations with the name I think it has a soft sound & I agree with the pp ‘hick’ comment to some degrre. The name feels slightly country to me. Not as strongly as [name]Emmett[/name] or [name]Earl[/name] or [name]Wyatt[/name], but that same strong/soft lilting feel if that makes any sense? I think something like [name]Kenneth[/name] [name]Jasper[/name] is really nice- it kind of plays up the soft earthy aspects of [name]Kenneth[/name] taking it out of dad name/[name]Ken[/name] doll territory
I think [name]Kenneth[/name] is a handsome name. I knew a [name]Kenny[/name] in high school that wasn’t the nicest person, but it never ruined the name for me.
