Kensley?

I’ve come across this recently and I [name]LOVE[/name] it. It is a gaelic girls name that is very unpopular (all the better). What other girl names can you see with it?

Thanks

My son and d-i-l are considering [name]Riley[/name] and [name]Kailey[/name] for their twin girls. I think those names are too matchy with that twin combo. This name would be a cute alternative to [name]Kailey[/name] as would [name]Kenley[/name]. At least there aren’t 20 different ways to spell it and it isn’t overused.I like [name]Kinsey[/name]/[name]Kenzie[/name] alot and this reminds me of that name’s sound. Did you want to know what mn’s would go well with it or what sibling names would go well with it?

seems very made-uppish to me and trendy.

I know it isn’t, but I agree with BlueBonnet.

I would choose [name]Kinsley[/name], or even [name]Kinsey[/name] instead of Kensley.

Some ways to spell [name]Kinsley[/name]:
[name]Kinsley[/name]
[name]Kinzley[/name]
[name]Kinslie[/name]
Kinzlie
Kinzli

My daughter’s middle name is Kenlin which I DID make up as as combo of my parent’s names. Apparently this is popular in parts of the world.
I LIKE Kensley - It is like all the other British place names: [name]Ainsley[/name], [name]Ashley[/name], [name]Brinley[/name], [name]Hailey[/name] …

Unfortunately, I can’t say I like it either. If I look closely at it, I see, yes, it looks like a girl’s name, but I’m immediately reminded of male names. I think of [name]Kingsley[/name]. And, in fact, before that… there was a character in The Iron Giant: “[name]Kent[/name] Mansley. I work for the government.” If it were spelled, say, Kenslie, it wouldn’t trigger those associations for me.
