I typed a long post about this and I am not sure it went through, so I apologize if this posts twice!
Questions:
1.) [name_m]How[/name_m] would you instinctively say [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f]? Is there a better spelling we could use, Correnza? [name_f]Karenza[/name_f]?
2.) We need a 2-syllable middle name because we like the balance of 3-2-1. We have discussed using [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] but haven’t decided. Any suggestions would be great!
3.) Constructive criticism of [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f] is wanted! We are trying to analyze it from every angle before we officially decide on it.
[name_f]Kerensa[/name_f] is lovely. Uncommon but with familiar sounds so that it doesn’t seem too out there for the average person. It’s not over long so you could get away with a nickname, but long enough to give it options to shorten to, like [name_u]Ren[/name_u], or [name_u]Kay[/name_u], etc.
I love [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f], a beautiful name. I pronounce it Kuh-[name_u]REN[/name_u]-zah.
I don’t see any reason to change to the other spellings - I’ve never seen Correnza or [name_f]Karenza[/name_f] before, and they’re not nearly as nice. The only alternative to [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f] I like and think usable is [name_f]Kerenza[/name_f].
I think [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f] [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is a wonderful, gorgeous combination. Other ideas are [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] or [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].
I really like [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f]; A girl I went to college with spelled it [name_f]Kerenza[/name_f]. I actually kind of like that spelling better because it is more apparent if you want the “z” sound rather than a hard S. (if not, then disregard!)
how about [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f], [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f] [name_u]Sinclair[/name_u], [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f], [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f] [name_f]Janelle[/name_f], [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f]
Kuh-ren-zuh. I wouldn’t butcher the spelling. I’m quite familiar with the name because there was a female archaeologist on of my favorite shows–only hers was spelled Carenza.
I love [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f]. I prefer this spelling. My sister far prefers [name_f]Kerenza[/name_f] which is also lovely. She thinks it has more spunk/zest that goes better with the vibe of the name. I prefer this name to [name_f]Cerys[/name_f]/[name_f]Carys[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Kerensa[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f].
