Kerrin

Thoughts on [name_f]Kerrin[/name_f] for a boy? What vibe or image does it give you?

I like it in theory – similar to [name_f]Kellan[/name_f] or [name_m]Killian[/name_m]. However, I think it is too close to the female [name_f]Karen[/name_f] for my liking. It might be difficult for a boy to wear.

Is it pronounced like [name_f]Karen[/name_f] or [name_m]Kieran[/name_m]?

I like it but it’s too close to [name_f]Karen[/name_f] for me

I actually think [name_f]Kerrin[/name_f] works really well for a boy! It feels gentle, understated and a little bit outdoorsy to me, similar to [name_m]Kieran[/name_m]. It has a slightly old-fashioned, familiar feel without being overly common. I picture someone creative, kind and quietly confident. I also like that it’s distinctive without trying too hard. It feels like a name that would grow really well with him.

I think it’s okay, not my favorite though

Pretty cool. It’s different. Reminds me of a short form of Kerrigan. I actually just thought of Karen as I was typing this. Because of the negative social media reputation of the name Karen gets I think I’d definitely default to Kerrigan.

It’s intriguing as a possibility, but seems too close to [name_f]Karen[/name_f] to be usable for me… I like the similarish Ciarán/Kieran more myself.

Good luck!
