Kip vs. Kit

Would you use the nickname “Kip” or “Kit” for a boy named Cade Patrick? Love Kit as a nickname more, but feel like it’s more of a stretch than Kip.

I think either works fine! If you prefer [name_u]Kit[/name_u], I’d go with that.

If you prefer [name_u]Kit[/name_u], go with that  i think it makes sense

[name_m]Kip[/name_m] is one of my favorite names, so I’d go with [name_m]Kip[/name_m], but if you love [name_u]Kit[/name_u] I think you should go with that! Both do feel like a stretch to me, so I think it really comes down to personal preference!

[name_u]Kit[/name_u]! I love [name_u]Kit[/name_u] so much, it’s been in my top favorites for boys ever since I discovered it, so I’m totally biased and this is just personal preference.

But [name_m]Kip[/name_m] :star_struck:
I love both!!!

I think [name_u]Kit[/name_u] works just fine!!

I love both [name_u]Kit[/name_u] & [name_m]Kip[/name_m], but I think you should go with whichever you love more!! I think they both make sense. [name_m]Kip[/name_m] for Cade Patrick, and [name_u]Kit[/name_u] for Cade Patrick!!

Both are great! I love both [name_u]Kit[/name_u] and [name_m]Kip[/name_m] and love them as full names and as nns. You could use either in your case, but I’m wondering why you would use [name_u]Cade[/name_u] as the given name if they’re going to be called [name_u]Kit[/name_u] or [name_m]Kip[/name_m], since they’re all one syllable C/K simple names?
Anyway, I’d go for the one you love more and don’t worry about which is ‘a stretch’, since neither [name_u]Kit[/name_u] nor [name_m]Kip[/name_m] is a traditional nickname for [name_u]Cade[/name_u].

I love both, and I’d probably use both for nns. But I do prefer [name_u]Kit[/name_u]. I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch, as I have a similar method of getting to [name_u]Kit[/name_u] with my own top name .

[name_u]Kit[/name_u] is cute, and I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch! If you like it more, it works :)

I like [name_m]Kip[/name_m] and [name_u]Kit[/name_u] both better than [name_u]Cade[/name_u]. You can try [name_u]Kit[/name_u] and see if it sticks.
