I need to do some google searching to find ouut who this celebrity is but why nameberry WHy would they name a GIRL Kline??? That is so random and like its a mans surname…it sound like a lawfirm or kleinmans…yuck what do you mamaberries think??
I agree - it sounds very man-like; however, with the current trend of using random man-like surnames for little girls, it truly doesn’t surprise me. I certainly can think of some similar choices in my area for little girls. Celebrities love to use something that shocks the world:)
It was [name]Mike[/name] [name]Eli[/name] from The [name]Eli[/name] [name]Young[/name] Band. Not a fan of the name at all. Very unattractive. [name]Olivia[/name] is nice, though.

Kline as a first name definitely wouldn’t work in my country because it means ‘little’. So I’d never use it as a first name.
She could always go by [name]Olivia[/name] if she’s older. That’s a really nice name!
Because we love the name Kline and it fits our beautiful baby girl to a T! It’s original, not to mention we took in a stray pup & named her [name]MOLLY[/name] when i was little. I’m sure you know how the name association thing goes…Kline is not a family name, and if all goes as planned, will not go by [name]Olivia[/name]. YUCK to you for talking crap about our sweet baby’s name, which really shouldn’t be any of your concern. I know this is the “nameberry” forum but seriously people… how do you think you would feel if you saw this on the web about your baby? Be kind…we’re all mamas here. Obviously some of us just have more time on their hands!

I love the name! Kline is so original and [name]Olivia[/name] is popular and very feminine – so it kinda balances out.
I think it’s a beautiful name, personally. I can’t say where the inspiration came from, but it makes me think of [name]Patsy[/name] Cline (Different spelling I know) which I think is a good association.
The addition of [name]Olivia[/name] makes it more feminine too.
If the above post is genuinely from the mother of this child, I feel so sad that she had to see a post bashing the name of her child. I am pregnant right now and I am so tired of people judging and bashing my name choices, I know this is Nameberry and we come here to discuss names…but at the end of the day, this is somebodys precious bundle of joy and they of course have given it a name that they think is perfect.
I really like Kline [name]Olivia[/name]. It’s sweet. It’s different but not grasping at straws different. I mean, we don’t actually know if it’s a family name, or of some other great significance.
So, not bad.

I think Kline is a horrible name [name]IMO[/name] - especially for a girl. [name]Olivia[/name] is beautiful though, one can only hope that she’ll end up going by that.
