We are three weeks away from scheduled c section and no name for our little boy please help… I love the name [name_m]Knight[/name_m] but our last name is [name_u]Walker[/name_u]
looking for other variations of [name_m]Knight[/name_m] like Knightly or Knightson so his birth name is not [name_m]Knight[/name_m] [name_u]Walker[/name_u] but we can still call him knight
Is [name_m]Knight[/name_m] [name_u]Walker[/name_u] that horrible? [name_m]Will[/name_m] anyone associate it w game of thrones or zombie movies twenty years from know anyway? Maybe just totally different name?
I kind of like but don’t love
[name_u]Cruz[/name_u]
[name_m]Thor[/name_m]
[name_u]Lake[/name_u]
I definitely think [name_m]Knight[/name_m] in the first spot would be over the top with your surname. I don’t think it would be so bad in the middle though.
Unfortunately variations won’t help too much in the first spot either.
Here are some names with Knightly meanings though:
[name_m]Swain[/name_m]- “knight’s attendant”
[name_m]Chevy[/name_m] or [name_m]Chevalier[/name_m]- “horseman/knight”
[name_m]Duncan[/name_m]- “dark warrior”
[name_m]Ludwig[/name_m]- “famous warrior”
[name_m]Armin[/name_m]- “Soldier/warrior”
[name_m]Heron[/name_m]- “[name_u]Hero[/name_u]”
[name_m]Vero[/name_m]’ “great hero”
[name_m]Noble[/name_m]- knightly virtue name
Unfortunately, I think [name_m]Knight[/name_m] [name_u]Walker[/name_u] is too much… even though [name_m]Knight[/name_m] is such a cool name! However, you have a [name_u]Sky[/name_u] [name_u]Walker[/name_u], so you’re obviously not too worried about going a bit unique! Have a listen to the song [name_u]Sky[/name_u] [name_u]Walker[/name_u] by [name_m]Miguel[/name_m] and [name_m]Travis[/name_m] [name_m]Scott[/name_m] if you haven’t already!
Why not go for [name_m]Knight[/name_m] in the middle name spot?
I agree [name_m]Knight[/name_m] [name_u]Walker[/name_u] is a bit much, from your like list I would personally go with [name_u]Lake[/name_u] [name_u]Walker[/name_u]. You could always nn him [name_m]Knight[/name_m] regardless of his name if you really wanted, my husband had a friend and everyone called him Tater including his family, his name was [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Martin[/name_m] [name_m]Connell[/name_m], to this day my husband still has no idea why Tater was his nn.
The first name I thought of that I think sounds good with your other names is [name_u]Dean[/name_u], [name_u]Dean[/name_u] [name_u]Walker[/name_u], maybe even using [name_m]Knight[/name_m] as a mn?
My second thought was to use names of Knights, here are some Knights of the round table:
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m] or just [name_m]Art[/name_m]
[name_m]Daniel[/name_m]
[name_m]Gareth[/name_m]
[name_m]Lance[/name_m] (Like [name_m]Lancelot[/name_m])
[name_u]Lionel[/name_u]
[name_m]Perce[/name_m]
[name_u]Tristan[/name_u]
[name_m]Knight[/name_m] is a bit much for mewith your surname, sorry
[name_u]Roscoe[/name_u]
[name_u]Tristan[/name_u]
[name_u]Sasha[/name_u]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m]
[name_u]Blaise[/name_u]
I don’t have any ideas right now, but as a mom of a sleep walker, [name_m]Knight[/name_m] [name_u]Walker[/name_u] makes me chuckle.
Good luck, I’m sure you’ll come up with a winner!
Sorry, but I don’t see anyone taking that name seriously.
If you like the sound, how about [name_m]Dwight[/name_m], Kite or [name_m]Nye[/name_m] as a compromise? There’s also a [name_m]German[/name_m] name [name_m]Veit[/name_m] (pronounced fight) but it’s probably not that usable outside of Germany
