L.J. As a nickname for a girl?

I am thinking about naming a girl [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]-[name_f]Jubilee[/name_f] and calling her L.J. Thoughts?

[name_f]Lydia[/name_f]'s gorgeous, and [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Jubilee[/name_f]'s a nice combo. I’m not a HUGE fan of _J nicknames, and LJ sounds sort of awkward to my ear, but if you like it, why not? I much prefer Liddy/[name_f]Lydie[/name_f], but that’s just me. If you like it, I’d go for it. I would love to meet a little [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]!

I really like [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Jubilee[/name_f] as a combo, but I am less of a fan of the hyphenated dynamic and the nickname. I like other __J names, particularly AJ, EJ, and SJ. But LJ doesn’t sound as cute to me, for whatever random reason. If you wanted to, I could see contracting [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] [name_f]Jubilee[/name_f] into another nickname. [name_f]Libby[/name_f], [name_f]Lilou[/name_f], [name_f]Lilly[/name_f], or Liddy would be lovely. Best of luck!

I don’t really get the appeal of LJ when [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is such a great name to begin with, but there’s nothing wrong with nicknaming a girl LJ.

It’s cute! I prefer [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] though.
