La-a, is not a name. Right?

So ive been seeing people all over the name websites that they’ve heard of little girls being called La-a, pronounced [name_f]Ladasha[/name_f]. I really don’t know when to trust people. Is this actually true? Surely calling a child La-a is NOT legal!?

Its not legit. Its actually a joke aimed at race.

It’s a big lie, that is always told over and over and over, alongside the twins Oranjello and Lemonjello, and Abcde.

I don’t believe there are any La-as. I regularly see dashes, apostrophes, and accent marks used as decoration in my line of work, but no La-as so far.

There would be nothing illegal about the name La-a in the US or UK but the whole La-a story is an urban legend. There is a page on the website Snopes debunking it.
