I prefer [name_m]Clark[/name_m]. It’s fresh and memorable with a crisp sound. [name_m]Lance[/name_m] is just really bland to me.
I absolutely prefer [name_m]Clark[/name_m]. [name_m]Clark[/name_m] is sharp, fresh, and classic. [name_m]Lance[/name_m] seems a little dated and I can’t get the clinical term of lancing out of my head when I hear it which is a bit gross :l
I like them both a lot. [name_m]Clark[/name_m] is metallic, sharp and bright, like silver. [name_m]Lance[/name_m] feels more like the sea to me. A moody sea, with fog and gulls and waves beating at black rocks.
Both remind of superheroes, Superman and [name_m]Black[/name_m] [name_f]Canary[/name_f]. I personally prefer [name_m]Clark[/name_m] as a first name as apart from the superhero connection, [name_m]Lance[/name_m] reminds me of a knight’s weapon, and the association is rather violent.

[name_m]Clark[/name_m] is my favourite. Whenever I see [name_m]Lance[/name_m], I always think of the weapon.
[name_m]Lance[/name_m] makes me think of that guy from Nsync. [name_m]Clark[/name_m] makes me think of the dashing [name_m]Clark[/name_m] [name_m]Gable[/name_m].
[name_m]Clark[/name_m] for sure. As others have mentioned, the vintage old Hollywood vibe adds to the name, whereas [name_m]Lance[/name_m] lacks an edge for me.
I prefer [name_m]Lance[/name_m]. [name_m]Lance[/name_m] brings to mind a quite, soft spoken, kind hearted, helpful boy. Someone who would go out of his way to be helpful and make you smile.
I love [name_m]Clark[/name_m] and don’t really prefer [name_m]Lance[/name_m]. I have a cousin name [name_m]Clark[/name_m]. He’s blonde, bright blue eyes, loves airplanes, very smart, soft spoken, such a sweet boy.
Another vote for [name_m]Clark[/name_m]. It’s my boy’s middle name, and I love it for the crispness that others have mentioned. It got mixed feedback, but I don’t care.
Another one here for [name_m]Clark[/name_m]! [name_u]Love[/name_u] this name, and [name_m]Lance[/name_m] is just a little meh to me, sorry
