Laura Claire or Anna Claire?

I currently have a daughter named [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. Our last name starts with an M and is three syllables. I’m pregnant with a girl, and she will be my last kid. My husband and I decided her first name will either be [name_f]Laura[/name_f] (lor-uh, NOT law-rah) or [name_f]Anna[/name_f] (rhyming with banana and [name_f]Hannah[/name_f]), and her middle name [name_f]Claire[/name_f] - period.

Thank you very much

I find [name_f]Laura[/name_f] beautiful but getting dated. So I vote [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. I love the meaning of both names and the combo looks and sounds great.

Definitely [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Anna[/name_f], and I agree [name_f]Laura[/name_f]'s a touch dated and maybe needs more time off the radar beford a comeback. I am a bit confused as to how you’re saying [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. I say banana with an ‘[name_m]AH[/name_m]-nuh’ sound and [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] as ‘AN-nuh’ like in ant. I personally prefer [name_f]Anna[/name_f] said like the latter (with [name_m]AH[/name_m]-nuh as [name_f]Ana[/name_f]).

I think [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] would sound beautiful with [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]

For clarification, you’re pronouncing [name_f]Anna[/name_f] like ‘[name_f]Ann[/name_f]-a’ rather than ‘Ar-na right?’ (the latter being how they pronounce it in Frozen)

[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]!

[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]! Funny enough simple names are now rare because people try to be unique with their names/spellings, so she may be the only [name_f]Anna[/name_f] in her classes.

I adore [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]. Beautiful combo.

[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] 100%!

I love [name_f]Laura[/name_f], but only the lawruh prn. Its such a neglected classic.

I don’t find [name_f]Laura[/name_f] dated at all! I think it’s an underused beauty! I actually like [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] a lot. Either works very well, but [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] just has something special.

I’d go with [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] and agree with you on the pronunciation. I really don’t like when people say [name_f]Onna[/name_f].

Definitely [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f], very pretty.

Yes, it is NOT like [name_f]Anna[/name_f] from frozen. It is more like an-ah.

[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] is super cute!
