Which one of the two do you prefer?
[name_u]Lauren[/name_u] for a girl, [name_u]Loren[/name_u] for a boy or enby
[name_u]Lauren[/name_u] for girl.
[name_u]Loren[/name_u] is the boy variant (or [name_m]Laurent[/name_m] or [name_u]Laurence[/name_u] or Lawrence)… but I don’t personally like it.
I think [name_u]Lauren[/name_u] is pretty for a girl. I have seen [name_u]Loren[/name_u] too, but I prefer Lauren… the “laur” spelling appeals to me for some reason. There’s also [name_f]Lauryn[/name_f], a la [name_m]Hill[/name_m]. [name_u]Lauren[/name_u] does sound a little 80s/90s and may not be ready for a full comeback, but it does have a kind of old glamor Hollywood appeal to my ears.
[name_u]Loren[/name_u] (pronounced with emphasis on second syllable) I’ve heard on boys. I used to not like it much, but I grew up with many female [name_m]Laurens[/name_m] and found this name unfamiliar and feminine. However, it’s grown on me a lot and I realized just because it’s softer doesn’t mean it’s less handsome.

[name_u]Lauren[/name_u]
I prefer [name_u]Lauren[/name_u]
[name_u]Lauren[/name_u].
[name_u]Lauren[/name_u], but [name_f]Loreen[/name_f] before either.
[name_u]Lauren[/name_u]
I prefer [name_u]Lauren[/name_u], as I imagine a [name_u]Loren[/name_u] would spend a lifetime having to spell out their name else be defaulted to “Lauren” by people they meet. A hassle.
[name_u]Lauren[/name_u] female and [name_u]Loren[/name_u] male to me.
[name_u]Lauren[/name_u]
Depends on the pronunciation you want because I would pronounce these differently. [name_u]Loren[/name_u] would be lore-en and [name_u]Lauren[/name_u] is lar-in. (Maybe this is a regional thing though?)
